Our brand is our reputation built on the mission to Connect our Church with our Community and our Community with Christ. The branding reflects
our mission, vision, and our purpose, and it is important that it is perceived in the way we intend. These guidelines ensure our image is consistently
and accurately reflected.

Before publicizing activities supported by or involving First United Methodist Church, please review these communications guidelines below. If you

We encourage everyone to share information of events and activities that the Church is involved in. Sharing information about activities can foster
visibility in our Community for important events and support positive momentum for FUMC Gainesville.

LOGOMARK
Our logo was developed to meet a number of criteria, including:
Readability
Differentiation from other area churches
Strong visual impact on sign-age and other identity materials

The dynamic design of its cross signifies Christianity, and the prominence of the word first literally grounds the mark with an important aspect of
our identity and history. The logo is easily readable, reproducible and effective in both its gray-scale and black & white versions.

COLORS
Vibrant, bold colors combine with black to capture the energy and vibrancy of FUMC Gainesville. The red should be considered the primary color; the
black color serves as an accent color to provide design impact and emphasis. The grey can be used when the greyscale logo is used.
