Luther N Webster This Indenture made the twenty ninth day of June in the year of our
to Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty seven between
Michael Pearsall Luther N. Webster and Sally his wife of Troy Oakland County and
Territory of Michigan of the first part and Michael Pearsall of the same place of the second part
Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of fourteen hundred
and fifty Dollars of good and lawful money of the united States to them in hand paid by the said party of
the second part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold remised
released aliened and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell remise release alien and
confirm unto the said party of the second part in his actual possession now being and to his heirs and
assigns forever all these two certain pieces and parcels of land known and distinguished by being the
west half of the North west quarter of of [sic] Section Seventeen of Township two North of Range
Eleven East and the East half of the North East quarter of Section Eighteen of Township Two North
of Range Eleven East according to the Plat of the original survey in the District of Detroit and Territory of
Michigan containing one hundred and Sixty acres Together with all and Singular the hereditaments &
appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and the reversion and reversions
remainder and remainders rents issues and profits thereof and all the Estate right title interest claim or
demand whatsoever of the said parties of the first part either in law or equity of in and to the above
granted premises with said hereditaments & appurtenances To have and to hold the said premises above
particularly described to the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns to the sole and only
proper use benefit and behoof of the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever and the
said parties of the first part for themselves their heirs executors and administrators do covenant grant
promise and agree to and with the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns the above
bargained premises in the quiet and peaceable possession of the said party of the of the [sic] second part
his heirs and assigns against all and every person or persons lawfully or equitably claiming or to claim the
whole or any part thereof will forever Warrant & Defend In Witness whereof the parties to these presents
have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written

Be it remembered that on this twenty ninth day of June in the year Eighteen hundred and twenty seven
appeared before me Samuel Satterlee a Justice of the Peace in and for the County of Oakland and
Territory of Michigan Luther N Webster and Sally his wife the within named grantors to me personally
known to be the persons within described and who executed the within deed who severally acknowledged
that they executed it for the uses and purposes therein mentioned and the said Sally being by me
examined separate and apart from her husband acknowledged that she executed it without any fear
threat or compulsion from him

all which I do certify according to the Statute
