Pole-mounted disconnector type TRF and load break switch type TRLF from
12 kV up to 36 kV

TR(L)F is an air-insulated pole-mounted switch with nominal voltage from 12

kV up to 36 kV, and rated current of 630-800-1250 A.
The basic design of all switch variations is a disconnector, type TRF. The basic
disconnector can be equipped with arching chamber, even later at site. Arcing
chambers have considerable load current breaking capacity.
On the same way, the disconnector switch can be extended with fuse carrier,
earthing switch, auxiliary switch and other components.

The switches can be installed either in vertical or horizontal position and their robust construction has
been laid out for high mechanical and electrical stresses.
Pole-mounted switch type TR(L)F is designed and tested in accordance with standard IEC 265 and
IEC 129.

Arcing chambers are available as individual products for OEM-s as well. Lot of references
verify their high performance and reliability. They can be applied to the most disconnec-
tors, available in the market. Figure: 1

Operating mechanism
Operating mechanism
Hand or motor operated drive mechanism can be applied, optionally with insulator integrat-
ed in the operating rod. Motor drive is available with several voltages and can be controlled

by the customer standardised remote control system. The housing cabinet has an IP 54
protection degree. Figure: 2

CBA type hand drive is solid mechanical operation system for disconnector and the earth
switch as well. It is connected by solid rods to the switch, suitably up to a 15 m height level
of pole. Figure: 3

Those can be also optionally equipped on the disconnectors. Mechanical interlocking is an
obvious option.

Auxiliary switch
Available with 4 or 8 contacts for disconnector, earthing switch and also inside the driving
cabinet.

Coding of type

Installation:

The outdoor switch disconnector can be mounted either vertical or horizon-

tal position on the pole. If a horizontal installation will be required, a spring latch must be
mounted additionally on the switch disconnector.

Special disconnector-switch type TRLF 1/24/630 C1

Mounting flexibility is one of the characteristic features of special switch type TR(L)F
1/24/630- C1 allows any required phase distance as the pole is just clamped down.
Opening, the blades move beyond the dead-centre position and therefore shall not be re-
closing unwillingly. The switch can be supplied as a disconnector or load break switch.
