PREFACE

In January 2015, the research for this report began in earnest at Sherwood West
Association, Inc. in Winston-Salem, NC. The association is a 45-year old non-
profit corporation.

In the countys Register of Deeds public records, it was discovered that the
association had foreclosed on a unit 2012 and sold the unit in 2013. The
income was missing and the expenses paid from association funds unreimbursed.

Board of Director Member(s), the property management company and association


attorneys involvement is well documented.

All parties refused access to inspect the associations books and records as
permitted by the bylaws and two (2) General Statutes.

Association are interchangeable. However,
these terms will generally refer to the entity used
for fraudulent purposes to achieve personal gain.
The HOA/Association is in name only not a
legitimate non-profit corporation.
