- Great work- asking students to clean up first was a
good idea, and you explained exactly what needed to
be cleaned and put away, then come to the floor- it is so important they have clear instructions so they know what is expected- giving them a time limit was good too.
- When asking them to put books away it was great to
see that you asked them to wait until you had finished talking- great work. I liked how you asked them to put their paper on the floor so no sound- exactly what I would do
- Putting students into pairs to share answers- great
idea- gets them all discussion their ideas
- The students got to work quickly which shows they
know the expectations of the lesson and what they have to achieve. I liked how you roamed the classroom to answer any questions students might have
- Great expectations of classroom behaviour- they all
went back to their seats and worked without talking. This shows that you have structure and organisation in the classroom and the students know this expectation in reading lessons
