North Korea

North Koreas situation now is almost like the Holocaust. They don't have enough food and

they have camps like the concentration camps. Their leader, Kim Jong Un, tells his people lies so

it seems to the citizens that he is God. His father, Kim Jong il, acted the same way as him. The

citizens can't really tell the king what is right or wrong. If they do they will be killed so they kept

silent. People of Korea obey, stay loyal, and believe in Kim Jong Un.

Kim Jong Un is trying to solve the problem of starvation so he can save his people and the

country. He wants his people to stop working on the farm and start taking care of rabbits. He

wanted the rabbits to grow really big in order for the people to have enough food. In the end it

didn't work and the situation is now worse. Kim Jong Un also labeled dogs as superfood and

encourages people to beat them to death. The North Korean leader is encouraging everyone to

eat more dog meat, suggesting it contains more vitamins than chicken, beef, pork and duck

(Why is North Korea starving?). The citizens actually listened to Kim Jong Un and started to kill

dogs and puppies. Sickeningly, the state's propaganda channel even claims that torturing a dog

to death improves its taste(Why is North Korea starving?). They became non human by killing

innocent people or animals. Meir, my little Meir! Don't you recognize me You're killing your

father I have bread for you too for you too (Wiesel 101). Humans will do anything to

get what they want even killing their family or anybody.

Even though Kim Jong Un made a lot of wrong decisions, his people still wants to protect

him. The Korean Children's Union - in which all five million children aged from seven to 13 are

required to join(N Korean kids urged to be 'nuclear bombs to protect Kim'.). The government

can even sacrifice children to protect its own leader. In every house they have a picture of their

current leader. If the picture is destroyed they would get punished. At Songhak High School,

located near Hoeryong, seven teachers, including the vice-principal, and six students lost their

lives while attempting to recover portraits and oil paintings out of the flood waters (Behnke).

They are very loyal to their leader even though Kim Jong Un is not the best leader.

The regime is imploding and the system is collapsing(Cummings ). North Korea is

constantly living in fear that their country is going to collapse. Their leader, Kim Jong Un, never

cleared up the misunderstanding and let them live in fear. However, the citizens still believed in

Kim Jong Un that he can lead their country and make it better. Another myth about North Korea

is that they have a atomic bomb. It's a rogue state with an atomic bomb ( Cummings).

Therefore North Koreas people are silenced. They obey, stay loyal, and believe Kim Jong

Un. The citizens believe the Kim Jong Un is going to make their country a better place even if he

is doing all these awful things to them.
