STABICRYL 1009

Non slipping/ coating agent

STABICRYL 1009 is applied for the non-slip property of textiles of natural

and synthetic fibers. Furthermore, it imparts good anti-pilling as well as
anti-curling properties to knitted goods. Due to its soft film it is suitable as
binder for non-woven and as coating agent.

COMPOSITION

Watery, self-cross linking film dispersion of vinyl acetate and ethylene

Density (200 C): 1.05 g/cm3
Compatibility: Compatible with many anionic, cationic and non-ionic
finishing products. Pre-trials should always be carried
out.
APPLICATION

Substrate textile fabrics of natural and synthetic fibers, non-woven

Aggregate padding machine, coating unit, foam application
Operation: coating, finishing
Application Quantities: 10 500 g/l STABICRYL 1009
Drying: the dispersion should be dried at 1300 C.
For the cross linking of the dispersion a temperature of
1500 C is required, this can be optimized with the
addition of 0.1-1.0% diammonium phosphate.
Thickening: If a thickening is desired, pH-inert product should be
applied, based for example on cellulose derivatives, poly
vinyl alcohol or polyurethane. In the case of thickeners
based on poly acrylic acid, those to be reacted with
ammonia should be because of the cross linking
properties of STABICRYL 1009.

HANDLING AND STORAGE

Storage stability: at least 12 months

Storage and transport: storage and transport NOT UNDER+35C.
