Subject:- PROVISION OF ADDITIONAL FUNDS DURING 2008-09

Reference your U.O. No. FD.SO(I&P)2-9/08-09-Vol-I dated

16.03.2009 on the subject noted above.
It is stated that execution of the work was delayed by the
contractor and funds to the tune of Rs. 4.055 million were utilized
against allocation and releases of Rs. 10.00 million up to 30 June 2008.
Thus the demand of additional funds of Rs. 3.00 million is genuine and
endorsed. The same may be released at the earliest. Non-release of
the same may cause further delay and escalation in the cost of the
scheme.
Scheme was also discussed in DDSC meeting dated
14.02.2009 and its approval was deferred due to some observations of
Finance Department. Scheme is being placed in DDSC meeting within a
week for approval proposing extension in gestation period up to June
2010 and some additional works.

is enclosed and D.G. ABAD is also requested to please provide the copy of
requisite map to Deputy Secretary, Finance Department and also depute
technical person to discuss this map with him before this meeting.

2. The expenditure would be incurred after completion of all the codal
