1. Reflection of Leader’s Forum: Each FRC member reflected on the weekend and agreed that
the FRC is well advanced in the recovery process when we compare with the reports from
most other CRCs in Victoria. FRC members agreed that our community is much less “stuck”
back on February 7th 2009, when compared with reports from most other CRCs. The FRC
members agreed that its decision to engage in partnerships with government agencies,
philanthropic organizations etc has helped keep our community on track with recovery.

2. KFT Planning Session: 3 FRC members attended. Members reported that it was a good day.
Members have given feedback on the day to Kerry O’Neill.

3. Monday 2nd August 4pm Chairs of CRCs in MSC will meet with Margaret Abbey and Ben
Hubbard.

4. All scoping documents for August have been lodged.

5. Rejuvenation of Cricket Oval funding is now up to $492 500. Timeline for project has been
requested. All dongas will be vacated and moved by the end of August.

6. Community meeting next Monday evening @ 7pm. This meeting will be held at the Hall this
month.

7. Judy reported:
 Read out a letter to the editor of the Phoenix re: postcode & name of town.
 Safety Plan Cover letter. This letter was forwarded to Sarah by the Safety Work Engine.
Sarah emailed it back to Judy and Julie with a name change, and some wording changes.
Judy and Julie responded that the Work Engine would like the document published as is,
without the CDO’s alteration, and Sarah has been emailed regarding this.
 Reported that the term “Work Engine” may be confusing to people. A work engine is
simply a working group which helps advance projects of interest to the group. It is like a
committee.

8. Julie reported:
 Environment and the Safety Work Engine. This is a work in progress.

9. August projects: Moores Road Reserve Electricity supply, Youth Space.
