ROLES & RESPONSIBILTY OF SALES ENGINEER:

Job Description:
Position Responsibilities:
*Develop a growth strategy for the region to generate demand of A1 fence products - " Private sector domain"
*Relentlessly generate demand by prospecting, quoting and closing new business opportunities by leveraging
existing relationship, engaging high level/key decision makers for Fencing solutions & Products
*Build, maintain and drive robust pipeline of opportunities to grow sales revenue
Performance Standards- (How will output be measured)
*Sales performance versus budget
*Follow-up of projects secured by each of target market segment opportunity
*Continuous updates on market activity by competitors
*Weekly review of call reports and market intelligence
*Delivery of sales performance as per the monthly/quarterly/yearly budget including stretch plan and accuracy of
forecast given by customer / project.

Meeting Architects & Consultants for building relation for enhancement of Brand and product sale.
* Sales and marketing of products
* Site visits to various sites, preparing technical proposals, Bill Of Quantities, Tenders, Quotations.
* Arranging technical seminars for Builders and Developers, Architects, Consultants, Contractors etc.
* Developing new areas and new dealers for the company.
* Devising strategies to be implemented in market for growth, penetration and achievement of sales targets.
* Handling key project accounts and to generate regular business from them.
* To conduct Architect's Meet, Contractor Meet & Exhibitions for promotion & penetration of Brand and product.
* Man management.

Experience in handling sales of Heavy construction machinery, mining equipment, earthmoving equipment, Industrial.

*Generating enquiries through different sales tools.

*Meeting customers, understand their needs and according to their needs offer suitable products

*Finalizing the orders from the customers

*Liable to collect payments/ forms on time from customers

*Keep an eye on workings of competitors, suggest different policy to build market share

Generating Enquires for Revamp and Retrofit business.


Having knowledge of heat load calculation.
Basic Designing aspects of piping and ducting work.
Should be from reputed HVAC company.
Should have ability of developing PR with consultant and Customers.
Overall responsible for planning and execution of revamp jobs.
Candidate preferred currently working in Gujarat.
Candidate should experience in selling of VRF/Ductable/Package Airconditioner

* Developing business development strategies and implementing marketing plans for channel sales
* Market Research, Market Development
* Understand Channel management, create a clear plan for increasing sales growth in chosen market segments
* Establish new customers, build relationship, develop new opportunities with sales and at small OEMs/Contractors
* Excellent English knowledge and ability to interact across the border and with different customer backgrounds
* Good communication and ability to develop as part of the job, presentation skills, negotiation & analytical skills
Good relationship, networking, rapport with end users, preferably with industrial customers,
Experience in interacting with consulting engineers / architects in HVAC field.
Basic knowledge of design and operation of air-conditioning systems, evaporative cooling and ventilation including
low side duct design, selection of accessories etc.
Should have good understanding of IT tools for supporting individual & organizational productivity.
Understanding of Psychrometry and related terms.
Should be able to work independently, prepare quote based on the BOQ.
Should be able to understand the customer requirements.
Exposure to and /or working on ERP - advantage
Key responsibilities / Key Result Areas Networking with leading consulting engineers / architects in assigned
territory and positioning of company's offerings in upcoming projects.
Handle proposal making, submissions, negotiation and conversion into firm orders.
Generate business leads in target segments such as Engineering, Automobile industries, building segment,
hospitality industry, pharma sector etc.
Identify influencers and decision makers for converting enquiries into firm orders
Able to read and do some connections on drawing on Auto CAD.
Should have knowledge of heat load, design basis report, duct routing and SLD.
Continuous support to customers and channel partmenrs in territory.
Names of comparable firms where such a potential candidate would have worked/is working Companies in the
evaporative cooling/HVAC fields
Air-conditioning contracting firms and equipment suppliers, e.g. Voltas. Blue Star, Sterling Wilson, ETA, Suvidha,
Zeco, Roots Cooling.
Candidates from consulting engineering firms, engineering contractors and capital equipment manufacturers with flair
for sales and marketing shall also be considered.
