Brown, Anna, and Eileen Patten. "The Narrowing, but Persistent, Gender Gap in Pay." Pew
This source provides helpful data regarding the gender pay gap in America. It provides
percentages, comparisons over time, and charts to directly compare the data collected.
Some possible reasons behind the pay gap are also provided. This is a reliable source
because it is the website for an official research center. This source has been very helpful
because it shows the progress made in reducing the wage gap between 1980 and 2015. It
also has graphs showing the difference in wage gaps separated by age, which is a factor I
Chris, and Dan Says. "10 Winning Arguments Against Radical Feminism." Libertennial. N.p., 15
This source is an opinion based article that explains how feminism is bad. This may not
be a reliable source because although it does provide statistics it does not give evidence
for the source of these statistics and it is a sponsored website. It provides an opinion that
believe this will be a useful site for me to show possible counter arguments, and disprove
these arguments.

"Facts about Sexual Violence." PsycEXTRA Dataset (n.d.): n. pag. National Sexual Violence
This source provides statistics regarding sexual violence in the United States separated by
gender. It is a reliable source because the document is provided by the National Sexual
Violence Resource Center. This is a very helpful resource because it not only shows the
differences in assault statistic for adults, it also provides statistics regarding child abuse,
campus assaults, crime reports, and the costs and impacts. This source makes the data
provided easily understood and comparable. The information is also recently collected.
Morin, Rich. "The Politics and Demographics of Food Stamp Recipients." Pew Research Center.
This source provides data regarding food stamp recipients in America. It is a reliable
source because it comes from the official Pew Research Center. This is a helpful source
because it shows the separation in statistics by more than just gender. It provides data
also separated by race. Before finding this source I did not think that race caused such a
large difference in results when combined with gender. This demonstrates how the

combined impact of racial and gender discrimination can have a much greater impact on
someones life.
Now. "Why Women Pay More than Men for the Same Stuff." CNNMoney. Cable News
This article is centered around the Pink Tax. it discusses the differences in prices of
goods based on the gender the product is targeting. It discusses tax price discrepancies in
products and services that should not be gender based. This source might be credible
because it comes from a national news company but also it may be swayed by the opinion
of the journalist who wrote it. This article will help support my claims of gender based

of the Pink Tax? 4 Items Women Pay More For." Groundswell. N.p., n.d. Web. 17 May

discusses the differences in prices of product based on gender and provides cases, and
quotes to support their claims. I believe this website will support my use of the Pink Tax
as a con to gender neo imperialism. This website also provides specific examples that can
be used.

This source explains gender discrimination in religious texts. It may not be a reliable
source because it does not have any significant affiliation and it appears to be rather
biased. However it does provide direct quotes from religious texts supporting its
argument. I believe this will be a useful source because despite its questionable affiliation
and bias it does have strong proof behind its argument. Also the sources main argument
This source explains the history of the womens suffrage movement. It explains how the
movement began, what organizations made the greatest impacts, and what people lead the
organization and provides historical facts. There are not opinions in the text, it is only a
sequential recount of the events of the movement. This source will be used in the
