Sound pressure level no load condition LPA in 0,3 m dB (A) 74
Core-and-coil assembly
Core
Core type with limbs arranged in one line and connected by yokes.
Type of core
Three-phase core with three wound limbs.
Core lamination
Cold-rolled grain-oriented sheet with magnesium silica phosphate insulation on both sides. The cross
sections of the boltless limbs are finely stepped and, to a large extent, adapted to the circular shape. The
abutting surfaces of the core sheet are in step-lap layers. The upper and the lower yoke are fastened
through bolts each, and secured by fabricated steel pressbeams.
Windings
The winding material is Copper. The windings are arranged concentrically.
Type of cooling
The hot dipped galvanised radiators, to EN 50216-6, are flange-mounted to the tank via butterfly valves, to
DIN 42 560.
Type of Tank
Reinforced welded steel tank. The tank cover is bolted to the tank and is constructed in such a way that no
gas bubbles can collect on the inner surface and no water remains on the outside. The complete tank is
tested for leakage and is vacuum-tight.
Tank fittings
4 Bi-directional wheels for moving longitudinally or transversely, not acc. to DIN
4 Lugs for longitudinal and transversal movement
4 Lugs for lifting the entire transformer
4 Lugs for lifting the tank cover
4 Jacking lugs (each one dimensioned for 1/3 of the transformer weight)
Thermometer pockets, type acc. to DIN 42554 and quantity acc. to DIN 42504 or 42508
4 Earthing terminals M12 made of stainless steel (two corners, in diagonal opposite sides)
The transformer has an oil conservator which is designed to match temperature conditions. One Silicagel
breather per chamber is provided.
The conservator is mounted on the tank. See location on the enclosed proposal drawing.
Oil
First filling oil. The mineral-oil is PCB free and fulfils all the requirements for oils of class A, VDE 0370 / DIN
57370 Part 1, and of class II, IEC Publication 296.
Terminals
HV winding
Oil-filled porcelain bushings according to DIN 425##
LV winding
Oil-filled porcelain bushings according to DIN 425 # #
Double-float Buchholz relay with 1 alarm and 1 trip contact, EMB type DR80 (or equivalent
supplier), with 1 isolating valve DN80, 1
Dial thermometer Messko (or equivalente supplier) for oil temperature with 2 adjustable
contacts, 1 for alarm, 1 for tripping, 1
Magnetic oil-level gauge with 2 alarm contacts (min. and max.),Qualitrol type XK 2443 (or
equivalent supplier), for the chamber to the transformer tank compartment 1
Pressure relief devices with 1 trip contact, Qualitrol type XK 2364 (or equivalent supplier) 1
Silicagel breather acc. to DIN 42562 1
The contacts are connected to sep. terminal block inside the control cabinet (of the OLTC if applicable),
which is mounted on a top wall of the transf. tank. All devices for protection and monitoring are of IP 54 and
the cubicle it self IP 65.
All accessories and control cubicles are painted with the respective supplier standard color.
Designation of the monitoring devices follows the KKS-system, according to DIN 42513.
Identification labels for the main components are provided, with reference to the KKS code, only the code
without text.
Testing
The transformers are factory-tested in accordance with IEC 60076-1. The testing program is as follows:
Routine test
Measurement of winding resistance
Measurement of transformation ratio and detection of polarity and vector group
Measurement of impedance voltage, short-circuit impedance and load losses
Measurement of no-load losses and of the no-load current
Induced power-frequency overvoltage test
Separate source power-frequency voltage withstand test.
Type Test
Optional, to be chosen out of our separate list
Special Test
