Learning how to read music as well as how to play the keyboard as I have never played
an instrument or learnt how to read music.
New Skills - learning how to read music and how to play the keyboard (basic and well
known songs), patience, commitment and dedication.
Challenges - the fact I have never played an instrument or learnt music before, as well
as managing my time with other CAS activities as well as studying.
I want to be able to understand basic music and be able to play the keyboard to the best
of my ability as well as use these skills to learn other instruments.
videos of me playing basic and more compacted songs, progression and reflection notes
on my website.
Which learning outcomes may be appropriate to reflect on for this activity? (NB You do not
have to meet every outcome for each activity. All seven must be achieved over the duration of the CAS
Program and before you are signed off)
LO2 Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills
in the process
A new challenge may be an unfamiliar experience or an extension of an existing
one. The newly acquired or developed skills may be shown through experiences that
the student has not previously undertaken or through increased expertise in an
established area.
