Work carried out during this period (January - June 2017)

Completed the following subjects as part of course work:

a. PL7102 Polymer Process Engineering.
b. PA7103 Additives and Compounding.
c. PA7015 Research Methodology.
d. CC7008 Quality Management Techniques.
One review article on cellular polymeric materials giving emphasis on fundamentals of
polymer foam and its thermal and mechanical properties has been submitted to journal
for evaluation process. The outlines of the article are:
a. Introduction to the cellular polymer.
b. Fundamentals of polymer foams like surface tension, relative density, cell structure
etc.
c. Mechanical properties.
d. Thermal properties.
Materials for the experiment has been selected and procurement is done for the same.
Different parameters of initial phase for experimental work are selected and is under
progress.
Samples based on the selected parameters have prepared for initial phase testing and
characterization. Some tests have partially done.
