Yourchallenge:
Theperformanceofundergroundminesiscriticallydependantonthecapabilityoftheshaft

Modernsafetybrakesystemssupportconstantretardation.Comparedwiththeconventional

__Incaseofafaultinthebrakesystem,thebrakestepsbacktoconstantpressuremode,

Oursolution:
Toavoidtheserisks,themultichannelconstantretardationbrakewasintroduced15years
ago.Itfeaturesanumberofindependenthydraulicchannelswiththeirowncontrolsystems
andbrakeelements.Ifonechanneltrips,theothersremainasbackups:Thisishowthe
multichannelconstantretardationbrakepreventslossofcontrol.However,theconceptdid
notfindwideacceptancefortworeasons:Thehydraulicunitisquitelargeanddifficultto
maintain,andtheoverallsystemwastooexpensiveformostcustomers.
Becausepriceandsizewerethemainobstacles,wekepttheconceptbutshiftedmostofthe
functionalintelligencetotheelectroniccontrolsystem.Byusingmodernandpowerful

TheCobra01safetyconcept
Whenahydraulicpipebreaks,thepressureinthehydraulicsystemdrops.Simultaneously,
