a multi-step break-even question.
Second round: On-site interview (2 days). First day- informal question and answer with Salaries by Company

I applied through college or university and the process took 4 days - interviewed at
Capital One in October 2011.

Interview Details 1. IQ tests and personality test. Sample tests (two sections: verbal
and quantitative) are provided before the candidates do the real ones. The tests are very
easy.

2. Two 1:1 interviews. One is case interview (by a manager), and the other one is
behavioral interview (by a manager, not by HR). The case interview focuses more on
quantitative skills and requires some basic understanding of business.

I got rejected 3 days after the interview.

No Offer Data Analyst Interview

Very Difficult Interview

I applied through college or university and the process took a day - interviewed at Capital
One in October 2011.

Interview Details I applied for an interview through our career website. Was followed
up with an HR rep who asked me to apply online. After applying online, was required to
take a personality test and standardized test (verbal comprehension and math).

Once this was completed, I was invited to interview on campus. The interview was a
quantitative case study and was very stressful. The interviewer was very friendly and
relaxed, however. Despite my experience, never once were any questions asked about
my resume. The case study involved purely mathematical questions, equations, and
theories...definitely not like the usual behavioral interview.

I am still awaiting the results, one way or the other. I think the company is great, however
the interview process after this is even more intensive...

The process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Capital One in July 2010.

Interview Details applied online. Got a basic math/ logic test link a couple of days later.
The next day HR called me and asked some basic questions- previous work exp, salary,
availability to start work etc. He set up a date for a phone technical interview. Set up an
onsite interview a week later. Onsite interview consisted of 4 interviews- 2 behavior/ job
fit and 2 business cases. I messed up with one of the cases due to sheer panic.. else
the questions are very simple and logical. The interviewing experience was very positive
for me inspite of me failing a case.

Difficult Interview

The process took 6 weeks - interviewed at Capital One in December 2010.

Interview Details The overall process was involved from the online Personality and
Numerical Reasoning test to the Case an behavioral type interviews onsite. However,
once the online test were passed the recruiter was very encouraging throughout the
process by trying to align you with all suitable job openings and getting the interview
setup and making you feel comfortable with the process. The process showed that they
gave thought to the candidate selection. I attended an onsite recruiting day where other
