What is the meaning of ANZAC Day


A day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand that broadly commemorates all
Australians and New Zealanders who served and died in all wars, con icts, and
peacekeeping operations and the contribution and suffering of all those who have
served.

A day off to watch the ANZAC Day football match

A memorial day observed in Commonwealth Nations member states since the end of
the First World War to remember the members of their armed forces who have died in
the line of duty.

Why do we celebrate ANZAC Day?

So that the soldiers know that we value their commitment and courage of going to any
war.

So that everyone knows why we live in such a rich and free place that we get the privilege
to call our home.

In Flanders eld poppies grow where our soldiers are buried.

What does the spirit of ANZAC Day mean to me?

It means Men leaving there pregnant wives, kids and jobs to sacri ce their lives to help
others in need.

Biscuits that we only eat on ANZAC Day

Biscuits that mothers, wives, girlfriends sent to the soldiers during WWI

Biscuits made by the soldiers during the War

Biscuits that only ANZAC soldiers are allowed to eat

Why is it important for us to commemorate ANZAC Day?

the ANZACs were strong brave man and women who risked and lost there lives for us they
left the family's putting everything on the line they watched their friends brothers sisters
get shot. Right before their eyes inersant people were dieing and these man and woman
were the only hope we had this to me is the most improtant day in the year we may think
that somepeople have done amzing thing like saving a child from drowning but some of
these people caried several injered people on their backs for hours just to get them to
safety they ran on a battle feild to save people they dident even know, we live in safety
because of them.

to show we care and remamber the men and women who risked their lives for ours

love comitment bloode and tears that pored from the soldiers courage fear
