Mos defs black on Both sides Album was a vital piece of music for the people going into the

early 2000s.The market was being flooded with people whose music did not reflect the opinions

of the people they aimed to please.The Hip Hop movement and were trying to spread cultural

awareness.Black on both sides was a breathe of fresh air to thoses who liked the realistic style of

rap that preached awareness and spread a positive message of change for the people.His in depth

lyricism mixed with his new york style of rap made this project very influential to the culture and

it movement.

I used black on both sides to help me understand more about the entire hip hop movement at that

point in time going into the early 2000s and the changes in style at that point.Mos def is a

systematic rapper that goes into deep thought about the work he puts out and will not release a

project unless it is perfect.Going into this album nobody knew what to expect from hima and his

deep lyrics accompanied by his openness on the tracks makes him a unique rapper.HIs hard

hitting lyrics and his ability to spread social awareness while making a song that is beautifully

produced make his works different than may others accompanied by the fact he's from brooklyn

give him a fresh perspective has a rapper from that area who is social aware.

Guru was working on this single to solidify his greatness against new rappers emerging at the

Gurus work on massages solidified him as a rapper and allowed him to explore his musical

abilities.This track allowed him to say what was on his mind and let other rappers at the time

know that he wasn't going anywhere and that he was still the one of the better rappers

alive.When the track was released artists like 2pac and biggie were become bigger and had

began to give gang starr it's much do respect.this song was meant to let the public know that he

was one of the best and that he belonged at the top and at long last he had made it.

This is a scholarly report on the Hip Hop culture from someone on the outside of hip hop

looking in.This man is observing hip hop culture and trying to embrace its core beliefs

himself.He has a fresh take on the culture because he was not part of it and tries to analyze the

deeper aspects of hip hop.He aims to deconstruct the core elements of hip hop and look at what it

actually is saying to him as a person and a fan of popular culture.

This report was made to help spread the message that hip hop culture was not something we

needed to worry about.At this time in hip hop's life people had began to say that hip hop was

corrupting the youth.This article was made to spread the messages of hip hop yo the masses as

something that did not corrupt but was trying to spread a positive message to the youth.His take
has a white reporter who was none bias and had no previous encounter with the culture gave him

a fresh perspective willing to look into the culture and embrace what it wa saying.

This was one of the most influential works of art in the music industry at the time.The album's

overall message wanted to make the people question what they should accept from there rappers

and from the media.It broke down social stereotypes and allowed for more social awareness to

spread to all those who would interact with the album.The album is impactful from the beginning

to the end and every element of this album was made to incite a reaction from you.This was

shown in every from the album cover to the last track keep you involved with the work.

This work by tribe called quest was one of the most influential hip hop works of its time.It have a

voice to the people, who believed they could not be any thing that they wanted.It was spreading a

message that you could become anything that you were not limited to selling drugs rapping or

playing ball.But that you could be anything that as long as you gave it your all you could be

anything you wanted.

knowing exactly what he wanted to do.
Young Thug who has emerged as one of the premier new age rappers decided to wear a dress to
his album cover shoot.He is trying to promote gender equality and degeneralize the clothes we
deem for specific genders.He is speaking as person who wants to make a difference peoples lives
and spread love across the spectrum to those who he supports and appreciates.The line of dress
he was in was a gender neutral design and was made for both men or women who wanted to
make a bold statement.

This is an important song to millions of spiring rappers who see lupe's struggle to make hit
single.He is explaining in this song that he had a hard time writing and was struggling to feed his
family when this smg changed and saved his life.He chose a life of music over a life a crime and
that's what's made him such an impactful artist.
This song details the time between becoming famous and struggling in his world he lived in
before.He talks about his family and how this life was hard .he was about to start selling crack
again before his fee style went viral and he became famous seemingly overnight.He was praying
for empirical and he received one.this song is an inspirational anthem to anyone in a hard
position that they don't think that they can overcome.

connected with there shoes just as much as they are connected with music.because shoes can take
you to a special place just like music can.The difference in the two is minimal and is shon in the
document as in susceptible bound as hip hop is a fashion statement now and is widely accepted.
