To build upon my present knowledge and to contribute towards the growth of professionally managed
organization with my skills and experience and to become a successful professional in the field of
Mechanical engineering as well as thermal power plant technology.
MY JOB PROFILE SPECIALIZATION IN: (THERMAL POWER PLANT)
My working descriptions on thermal power plant are following:
1) I am presently working on pulverized coal fired sub critical boiler 2X810 TPH (make BHEL)
& reheat-regenerative fully condensate steam turbine, 2X250 MW (make BHEL, single units)
largest thermal power plant technology.
2) I have also done to work on CFBC boilers, 4X210 TPH & 1X390 TPH (make IJT) technology
& regenerative condensate steam turbine 3X130 MW (makers SIEMENS, single units).
3) I have done to work on AFBC boilers (Makers CVPL & VESSION) technology as well as
regenerative condensate steam turbine.
MY WORKING PROFILE AS AN ENGINEER IN POWER PLANTS:
As a Commissioning Engineer Profile:
I have included in pre-commissioning activity from initial stage to final stage in current power plant
(Jay Pee Bina Thermal Power Plant ltd, 2*250 MW) and previous power plant (Bhushan Power &
Steel ltd 3*130 MW) my pre commissioning activities in current IPP power plant are following:
1. Understand the commissioning plan, Carry out the process in proper
sequence Solve problems through the Analysis-Synthesis approach.
2. I am include in commissioning team (specially boiler sites) of BHEL Make
PF Corner Fired, Natural Circulation, 810 TPH, 540 oC, 155 Kg/ Cm sq. High
Pressure sub critical Boiler and also reheat-regenerative fully condensate steam turbine,
2X250 MW (make BHEL, single units) and to make plan and schedule of pre-
commissioning activities these activities are:
a) Air leakage test, Hydro test, Gas distribution test, Readiness of Auxiliaries test
(commissioning of rotary equipments, fans, pumps, commissioning of bowl mill &
feeder etc), Alkali boil-out test (In two stages), chemical cleaning test or EDTA
cleaning test (super heater filling, acid pickling etc), thermal flow test (economizer,
water walls & super heater), high & low pressure valve checking test, Passivations,
Steam Blowing, Commissioning of LR & wall blowers etc.
b) Also knowledge of steam turbine pre-commissioning activities i.e. acid cleaning of
oil pipes, lubrication system, governing system, jacking oil system, Generator Seal
 Oil System, Turbine Vacuum pulling system and Hydrogen Charging in Generator
etc.

As an Operation Engineer Profile:

1) Present main responsible for safe & efficient operation of subcritical pulverized coal fuel
Fired 810 TPH, 155 Kg/Cm2, 540 oC temperature (make BHEL) boiler (light-up, hotbox up,
hot light-up etc) from control room DCS and also monitoring all equipment in field during light-
up and abnormality as per requirement of operation of boiler.
2) Responsible for smooth & efficient operation having good technical knowledge of interlock &
protection of PF Fired steam generator.
3) Also good knowledge of smooth operation of Super High pressure Single Reheat &
fully Condensing 250 MW (make BHEL) steam turbine (cold rolling, warm-up rolling,
hot rolling & include in other abnormality) from control room DCS & field as per
requirement of operation of turbine. Also good knowledge of interlock & protection of
steam generator.
4) Good operation knowledge with trouble shooting of BOPs CW, ACW, DMCW, BFP etc.
5) Watch out all parameters of Boiler, turbine & other system of plant and maintain all
parameter as per requirement of plant operation from control room DCS (My Present
working DCS, MAX DNA).
6) For safe and smooth operation of plant (mainly steam generator) to check all field
auxiliary and giving proper instructions & guidance to field operators.
7) I take decision immediately on DCS and in field at the time of plant abnormality as per
requirement of plant operation.
8) To issue work permits to maintenance departments and coordinate with them for
equipment isolation for safety and take trial run of equipments after shutdown or
maintenance work.
9) To guide and supervise technicians for maintenance works.
10)I include making job list (especially boilers) for shutdown, breakdown &
Identifying areas of improvement and recommending process modifications of
plant.
11)Management of men power and safety of men-power as per planning and requiring of
plant.
12) Thorough good Knowledge of Power Plant water Chemistry specifically Boiler water
Chemistry to ensure the utilities knowledge for safe operation of plant.
INDUSTRIAL EXPERIENCE: (From 15/02/2008 to Till Date)
PRESENT INDUSTRY EXPERINCE:
Presently Working in JAYPEE POWER VENTURES LTD. at JAYPEE BINA THERMAL
POWER PLANT {2*250 MW IPP, single unit), make (BHEL) as an Engineer in commissioning &
operation department from 25/03/2012 to till date.
PREVIOUS INDUSTRIES EXPERINCE:
1. Worked as an Engineer in commissioning & operation department of power plant at
BHUSHAN POWER & STEEL LIMITED SAMBALPUR (ORISSA), INDIA power plant
capacity (3*130 MW, single unit) from 25/06/2010 to 22/03/2012.
2. Worked as Asst. Engineer in operation department of power plant at MSP STEEL &
POWER LIMITED, RAIGHARH (C.G.), INDIA from 5/09/2009 to 24/06/2010.
 3. Worked as apprentice trainee engineer in Gwalior Distilleries Ltd. From
15/02/2008 to 02/09/2009.

My current working job site in JAYPEE POWER VENTURES LTD. at JAYPEE BINA
THERMAL POWER PLANT 1st unit 250 MW (single unit) synchronized on 27/06/2012 and
running on FULL load continues and 2nd unit 250 MW (single unit) under commissioning
stage and synchronized early on February 2013 with Power Grid WRLDC and achieved
COD through planned schedule and another single unit 700 MW under planned on this
jaypee power venture ltd site.

Knowledge of Efficiencies Calculation of Thermal Power Plant:

I am responsible for maintaining / improving Plant Parameters as per Heat Rate / Aux.
Power / Availability / PLF / Reliability.
I have knowledge of boiler calculations (boiler efficiency, equivalent evaporation of boiler,
boiler losses calculations, heat balancing of boiler etc), turbine efficiency, turbine
protection, generator protection, cooling tower calculation, DM plant chemistry knowledge
& calculations etc.
I have safe knowledge of boiler & steam turbine operation with safety prosecution &
Industrial Hazard. To play an Executives role in safety of plant.

Professional Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering (In Mechanical Engineering)

I have complete regular degree (Bachelor of Engineering) in 2009 & degree certificate achieved
with 62% from (Shriram College of Engineering & Management, Gwalior, M.P.) with respected
to RGPV BHOPAL Technical University (M.P.).
