Known World Henna Artists' Gathering: Description This is a chance for anyone
who does henna, whether a beginner just for fun or full-time professional, to Your Inner
10-11 AM
come meet others. Bring research materials, your favorite new books, and Vagabond
anything else you'd like to share. Hosted by Ghazalah al-Badriyyah.

Wine and Alchemy Concert: an evening of World music and dance, pulling from a
7pm variety of musical influences - Greek, Rom, French, Armenian, Albanian, Hassidic, PAP
Middle Eastern, Celtic and others - and featuring special guest dancers.

Please come and enjoy the hospitality of Clann O'Choda at our annual Hafla, to
be held the first Friday evening of Pennsic, after the grass has cooled. The
Prophet forbids alcohol, so none shall be served or allowed during the Party.

The Middle Eastern/Islamic Persona:  A Round Table Discussion. Why did you
choose a Middle Eastern/Islamic persona? What challenges have you
encountered? How have you developed and played your persona? Has the

Cure Salee: Each year during the rainy season of August and September the
nomadic peoples of North Africa gather for the Cure Salee. As their camels

graze the salt rich earth, they celebrate their meeting with dance and song. Join
us in Celebrating at the 7th annual Pennsic Cure Salee!

Watan Hafla: A traditional Hofla hosted by Watan (E-17) and Melissa . Featuring
O'Dark Thirty E-17 Watan
Music, Dancing, and hanging out. Everyone is welcome to play and Dance!!

Join us for a pleasing evening of music, mirth and merriment in the Turkish Court
of their Excellencies. We have already heard from many fine musicians who plan
to attend, add yourselves to the mix and bring your music, dancing belts, shoes
and joyful spirits. Again, the cooks of the Barony of Andelcraig plan to out do N-07 Barony of
O'Dark Thirty
themselves with many delicious dishes from the East and drinks for both those Andelcrag
who are followers of the prophet and those who are not. We will be hosting
many performers, so please let us know if you have something you would like to

Come and DANCE with us! The 15th annual Pennsic Middle Eastern and World
dance exhibition welcomes all gentles to sign up at Pennsic and be part of our
dance community again this year. on August 10, from 1-4PM. There are 30 dance
1-4pm PAP
spaces available, First-come, first served, and sign up is the middle weekend of
Pennsic. Groups and solos welcomed. 7minute limit includes setups if using live
music. Old friend and new - have fun and dance!

Caravanserai Buhkara Hafla: Last year this was one of the best Haflas in the
Known World. Help us to continue the tradition. Musicians, Drummers, Dancers Middle Eastern

Little Qaina: Middle Eastern Dancers from Northeast Ohio get together for this
fun, energetic show. Join Hareem Shar'eem, Gypsy Soul, Wicked Gypsy, The
9pm PAP
Shuvani Jezebels and Ishtar as they perform their tribal and gypsy routines to
traditional bellydance songs.

Middle-Eastern Melodies—Participants Recital: All week, we’ve been learning


6-7pm and practicing. This is the results. Please join us in exploring the musical PAP
traditions of the Near and Middle East.
Thursday, August 12th

Circa Paleo: The violin sings ancient melodies. Ethnic drums paint a lush
4:30-5:30 rhythmscape. Experience a passionate musical journey from East to West as PAP
these minstrels breath new life into instrumental folk songs of old.

DragonSong: This will be an open collaborative arts session hosted by


DragonSong.  We encourage everyone to bring their talents, whether they be
7-9pm Ampitheatre
dancing, painting, music, or other media.  Bring your favorite artform and share
the evening with us as we inspire one another to create.

Following Court, Queen Gerthild invites all into the Atlantian Encampment following court for an N-05 Atlantia

recording group, TURKU "Nomads of the Silk Road," celebrates its return to Main Battlefield at
