UE Compression, LLC is a division of
United Engines, LLC and its parent com-
pany United Holdings, LLC of Oklahoma
City, Oklahoma, USA, wholly owned by
KIRBY CORPORATION (KEX) of Hou-
ston, Texas.
Kirby Corporation is the premier tank
barge operator in the US and through its
diesel engine services segment, provides
service for diesel engines used in a variety
of marine, land-based, power generation,
and railroad applications. Kirby also
serves as a distributor and service
provider for high speed diesel engines,
transmissions, pumps and compression
products and is a manufacturer of oilfield
service equipment, including hydraulic
fracturing rigs.

COMPANY BACKGROUND
UE COMPRESSION is a leader in the
design and fabrication of custom gas
compressor systems. The company was
formed in 2002, bringing together a staff
with more than 170 years of compression
design experience from the former Pamco
division of Stewart & Stevenson. In 2006
UEC, a division of United Engines in
Oklahoma City, acquired Gas Packagers
Inc., Colorado Compressor Inc. and Iron
Horse Compressor, well-established gas
and air compression distributors and
packagers. This acquisition broadened
market coverage and combined UEC's
extensive gas field expertise in engine-
driven compressors with Gas Packager's
proven experience in high spec electric
motor-driven process gas compression
and fuel gas boosting for the power indus-
try. On April 15, 2011, Kirby Corporation
(KEX) of Houston, Texas completed pur-
chase of United Holdings, LLC.
Today, UE COMPRESSION offers a com-
plete range of both engine and motor driv-
en gas compressor packages for a wide
variety of services, from 50-7500HP.
In addition, UE COMPRESSION builds
custom instrument air compression
packages for the energy industry, rotary
vane packages for vapor recovery, blower
packages for industrial and municipal pro-
jects, and is an authorized distributor for
Gardner Denver air compressors, rotary
blowers, and accessories for Colorado,
Wyoming, Montana and portions of NE,
SD, and ND as well as Kobelco oil-free
screw compressors.

packaging & fabrication facility in
Commerce City, CO with Sales and
Service offices in CO, WY, and MT.
