EXPERIENCE IN ANALYTICAL CHEMISTRY AND OIL & GAS

INDUSTRY

Currently I am working as an Executive Laboratory Supervisor in Petronas

Refinery Malacca, Malaysia. As this refinery involves in producing of various type
of petroleum products from LPG to coke, I am well exposed to physical and
chemical analysis of petroleum product, production chemical, process, utility and
effluent water as well as gas analysis by using standard methods such as ASTM,
IP, UOP and APHA.

As an executive laboratory supervisor, I am using LIMS for daily activity from

receiving samples,completing report,daily report, scheduling equipment
verification & preventive maintenance and implementation of statistical quality
sample and chart.

My field of expertise is in physical analysis of petroleum product and production

chemical. I can perform internal verification, calibration and preventive
maintenance for physical property equipment namely flash point tester,
viscometer, densitymeter, salt content analyser,, pour point,cloud point,distillation
unit, karl fisher water-moisture content, silver copper corrosion of jet AI,
kerosene and LPG, bsw centrifugal unit, and etc.

I also involved in commissioning of Petronas Lube Blending Plant in Malacca,

Malaysia. Therfore, I have good experience in operating of FTIR as finger print
and ICP for metal content in base oil and additive for lube oil

I am also qualified as expert in Research Octane Number ( RON ) and Motor

Octane Number ( MON ) in gasoline analysis

I have good experience in water analysis and residual analysis of injected

production chemical such as ph by using different type of meters, residual analysis
of production chemical injected in water system such as free chlorine in cooling

water ( residual of sodium hypochlorite ), dissolved oxygen in de-arator (residual
of Oxygen Scavenger in Dearator of Boiler ) molybdate as residual of sodium
molybdate in closed loop cooling water, and also bsw and salt content as inlet and
outlet of crude desallter unit as the effect of demulsifier added to desalter system

I am also a Quality Coordinator in implementation of ISO 17025 system in

laboratory starting from arranging of internal audit, external audit, coordinate any
corrective action, scheduling management review and extension of scope.

I confidence with my experience as above I can be a valuable asset by fully

contributing and supporting to ADCO Central Laboratories activity and operation
to achieve company mission.

- Prepare and check COQ Certificates of Quality for shipment purpose

- Conduct training for new Tech or student from Instep and Universities.

- Conduct meeting with subordinate every month

- Verify and approve work permit for contractor

- Communicate with surveyor and end user for any shipment issues
