ENISSIOMAH JCI® Memorandum of Understanding For Collaboration between [AIESEC Intemational & JCI Junior Chamber International) ‘This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is entered into by and between AIESEC Intemational, headeuartered in Rotterdam, Netherlands, and JCI (Junior Chamber Interationad, headcuartered in Saint Lous, Missour, USA, WHEREAS, AIESEC Internationa was establshod in 1948 in order to achieve peace and fuflment of humankind's potential tough cross-cultural exchange. Currently [AIESEC operates in 125 countries and tentorie developing young leaders around the world WHEREAS, JCI is @ nonproft organization of young active cilzens age 18 to 40 ‘whose purpose is providing development opportunities that empower young people 1 create positive change around the world, uniting al sectors of soctety to create ‘sustainable impact. Purpose ‘The purpose ofthis partnership isto create opportunites forthe development of young people, enabling them to work toward creating sustainable impact in Communities across the world, Scope This MOU provides a strategic framework within which the parties agree to collaborate toward zchieving the purpose jointly agraed hereto, ‘Areas of Collaboration “To achieve the purpose ofthis MOU, the parties have identified the following areas where their collaboration can provide significant development opportunites for ‘members and theircommuniios; 1. Youth Speak 111. Jol wil promote the AIESEC YouthSpeak Survey to its members and work together with AIESEC to gather as many survey responses as possible 12. JCI wilhave a spread inthe YouthSpeak Report, giving expert opinion about the data and about how young people can be engaged and mobilen, 1.3. JCI wil attend global Youthspeak Forums, where they will have a keynote and a workshop to educate members of AIESEC on the JCI (ge ‘obs‘Active Citizen Framework, JCI Project Management platform and the ‘ICT impact Training Courses 2. The JCI Actve Citizen Framework 2.4. JCI wil mobilize young people to identity nesds within their ‘communties and take action to engage community stakeholders to provide sustainable solutions to those challenges. 2.2. ICI wil connect AIESEC members to tools and resources enabling ‘them to utlize the JC Active Citizen Framework. 2.3. JCI willengage AIESEC members to implement projects aligned tothe ICI Acive Citzen Framework and enabe them to take advantage of the Glebal Youth Empowerment Fund 24, Bath JCI and AIESEC il jinty publish reports documenting the Impact created in communitas where members of both organizations Implement the JCI Active Ctizen Framework. 8. Long-term collaboration 3.1. AIESEC agrees to connect te alumni members fo CI and will actively promot the opportunity for members who are graduating from AIESEC tojoin cl 3.2. AIESEC agrees to actively promote the vanstion from AIESEG to active ctizen forthe future, 33. JCI agiees to actively promote the AIESEC internship program to its ‘members and alum permiting them to ereate opportunities to provide Intorstips for AIESEG members, 3.4. JCI agiees to promote to is members and JCI Alumni to become: ‘mentor fo AIESEC members, 8.5. Both parties agree to participate in the events of both organizations, Partcubrly the JCI World Congress and the AIESEC Intemational Congress, 36. JCI agrees to actively promote the opportunity to its members to travel labroatas par of AIESEC’s cultural exchange program, 37. JCI Lecal Organizations can participate in AIESEG exchange programs bby hosing AIESEC inteme, wherever the opportunty presents toe, Mutual Understandings Ite mutually agreedand understood by the pari tat A.
