Description

NE-32B is an anionic non-emulsifier and anti-sludge agent for use in completion and stimulation fluids.
Particularly effective to treat and or prevent acid-oil or water in-oil emulsions which commonly occur during
completion and well stimulation operations. NE-32B can be incorporated in all strengths of hydrochloric acid,
hydrochloric-hydrofluoric acid mixtures and KCl brines.

Lowers the interfacial tension between crude oil and water, as well as the surface tension of water in the
formation.

Mixing Ease (Can be mixed in water or oil-based fluids.)

To use with acid, first load the appropriate amount of fresh water to prepare the desire acid concentration. Add 1-
10 gallons of NE-32 B per 1000 gallons of treating fluid depending on requirement or laboratory test, agitate until
disperse. Continue adding other additives and finally load the concentrated acid mixing thoroughly to disperse
and homogenize the acid.

Compatibility
NE-32 B is compatible with most surfactants and stimulation additives.

Improved oil permeability due to its strong water wetting ability of sandstone formations.

Prevents emulsions from occurring between the crude oil and stimulation fluids.

Prevent formation of Sludge.

Breaks emulsions that may exist in the formation.

Increases fluid recovery due to low surface tension and resultant interfacial tensions.

Improves solvent efficiency for better removal of asphalt deposits.

Recommendations

NE-32 B as non-emulsifier should be used at concentrations of 1 5 gallons per 1000 gallons of treatment fluid.
As anti-sludge, normally ten (10) gallons is sufficient to control sludge formation. In both cases laboratory test
should be performed to determine proper concentration, especially if other cationic materials are present in the
treating fluid.

Safety Precautions

Could cause skin irritation with prolonged exposure. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Should contact occur,
remove product from skin as soon as possible and wash all contacted areas thoroughly.
NE-32B contains alcohol and natural organic solvents therefore should be handled with the same precautions as
any flammable liquid.
