ETHAN B. ALLEN ELEMENTARY | GARDEN GROVE UNIFIED | MARCH 2017-PRESENT
Co-teaching 2nd grade GATE using the Wonders Literacy program, Irvine Math Project, and Pearson Math.
Planning and teaching student-centered lessons to promote critical thinking, collaboration, and perseverance:
o Guided students in designing clock faces and installing hands and battery packs by problem solving as a class.
o Students created the set, props, and costumes to perform a readers theater to incoming 1 st grade GATE class.

Planned and taught CCSS based lessons, and SBAC aligned assessments, for ELA/ELD, math, science, social studies, and P.E.
Tutored math on weekends for qualifying low SES students in this Title 1 school for 3 rd and 4th grade.
Instructed and managed rotating guided reading groups for 4th grade intervention period 4 times per week.
Participated in weekly staff, PLC, and 4 th grade team meetings to plan lessons and monitor student progress.
