Drawings of Grid Station / Route Plan, Line Profile of 132 KV Grid Station Ph-
IX Shuhada Town and CBW Ph-VIII (Sajpal) alongwith Allied Transmission
Lines.

1. Bidding Documents:

2. B.O.Q and Grid station drawings - Recommendations:

The B.O.Q and the grid station drawings are generally found to be in order,
except for minor corrections to be incorporated in the drawings mentioned
below:
i). Single Line Diagram for DHA Ph. VIII & Ph. IX:
Number of 11kV incomings cables to be 5 instead of 3 and number of 11kV
outgoing panels to be 8 instead of seven as indicated in the B.O.Q.
ii). General Layout for DHA Ph. VIII:
The Control House Building to be shifted nearer to the approach road in
order to reduce lengths and cost of 11kV incoming cables.
iii). Switchyard Layout and Foundation Layout Plan for DHA Ph. VIII:
a) Distance between 11kV structure and transformer to be increased
to facilitate laying of 11 kV incoming cables and their connections
to the Aluminum pipes on the 11 kV structure.
b) Some of the pipes for cables crossing transformer way to be
deleted in view of the CHB and switchyard located on the same
side of the transformer way.
c) The capacitor banks to be shifted towards CHB and PMT nearer
to CHB in order to reduce lengths of connecting cables.
d) Location of draw pit for the switchyard tranches to be shifted
away from the CHB..

iv). Equipment Layout plan in CHB for DHA Ph. VIII & IX:
Location of 11kV switchgear panels to be adjusted.
v). General Layout for DHA Ph. IX:
 Similar to that of DHA Ph. VIII grid station, the main gate for the grid
station may be shifted on CHB side with separate gate for the switchyard.
This is because the access of visitors is to be allowed first to the CHB and
if necessary, to the switchyard for security reasons.
vi). Switchyard Layout and Foundation Plan for DHA:
a) Distance between 11kV structure and transformer way to be
increased to facilitate laying of 11 kV incoming cables and their
connections to the Aluminum pipes on the 11 kV structure.
b) P.T bay to be shifted on CHB side to reduce P.T cables and in order
to provide more space on CHB side for cables etc.
