COCA-COLA?
Coca Cola Company was founded in 1886
in the city of Atlanta EE. UU by Dr, John
S. Pemberton which have an idea of a
revolutionary drink that would change
the taste of all the world who knew 2
years later it would be sold in all the world
as 1# beverage around the world, it was sold
in 5 cents per glass, its original recipe was a
mixture of a flavored syrup mixed with
carbonated water with a deemed judged by
the best tasters in USA and all over the
world.
IN RELATION TO
SUSTAINABILITY
Nowadays focusing on main discussion topic,
Coca-Cola is analyzing the problems of the
world. So, the company decides to start
helping stop this problematic. Those problems
are in environmental, social and economic
ways. Also, it is trying to reduce the
puberty, save natural resources and change
the way of life. With help of a few
campaigns and new alternatives available
to the public, Coca- Cola is starting to take
serious the Sustainability stuff, entering
this great universe of Assuring present needs
for all without compromising the future.
SUSTAINABILITY
PROCECESES
Knowing the three basic pillars of
sustainability, Coca-Cola has a plan for
assuring they are accomplished in all the
company process. The company has an
stablished objective for 2020 in terms of
better economic growth for Coca-Cola
products, but neither way the company
isnt risking the sustainability pillars in
that goal, even better it is taking them as
most relevant for the project.
SOCIAL PILLAR
Well-being:
Coca cola is trying to use healthy raw material
for they products so they can assure the
consumers arent contaminated. For example, in
Kenya they are using the healthiest plants for
people not to argue about sanity of their
consumers

Human rights:
For achieving their fundamental vision of 2020
they are considering the human rights as
important. After applying the UN law in 2011,
they focus on all three of the components that
must be to assure the accomplishment of the law:

Commitment to the respect human rights


Make sure human rights arent vulnerated
Assure responsible remediation if violated
ECONOMIC $ PILLAR

Womens worker participation:


Coca cola is proposing make more jobs for the
womens. In 2010, they were 1.7 million of
womens in the company and for 2020 they
will be 5 million.

Production:
Coca colas goal is for 2016 and 2017 reach the
1,000,000,000 of sugar, coffee and tea for major
production of their products without risking
human health or the environment because
agricultural zones are well elected to be specific
no to harm the other ecosystems and this helps
give worker to more people like farmers.
ENVIROMENTAL PILLAR
Water control:

Coca cola is trying to have a perfect manage of the


water they use, through different methods such as: good
managing of wastewaters, give back the water they use
clean to the nature and communities and assure good
water efficiency. These to have a good source of water for
2030.

Packaging:

Coca cola is trying to make the packages of their


products more ecofriendly by reducing the hazardous
materials it is composed of. Yet they still know how
damaging are those packages so they propose recovering
those packages for reusing them in future.

Greenhouse effect:

Coca-Cola knows its operational places produce a great


greenhouse effect so each year they are trying to avoid
this from happening. The materials used in production
are focused on be more natural and no harmful because
they come from mainly the agriculture
