CHAPTER ONE
QUESTION
Can you thing of recent examples within your family or circle of friends where you
have used persuasion to build agreement or consensus or inspire action for another? Can
you thing of recent examples where you have been successfully persuaded? Write a brief
paragraph describing their top arguments and your responses to them. What could you do
as a communicator that might help this person see your point of view more clearly?

ANSWER
The most recent example that made me use persuasion to build agreement in my family
was when I wanted to agree with my father to go for holidays in our village despite the
fact that my mother and my brother wanted to go in an other place. I tried to give strong
points to agree with the opinion of my father and persuade the rest members of my
family.

I have been recently persuaded by my mother who gave me good points for take the
decision of going in an American university or a Greek university. She persuaded me
immediately without having the chance to tell her what I thing for this issue.

Her top arguments were that the education that I will get will be more advanced in an
American university that in a Greek university. There I will have the chance to learn the
language better and if I decide to go and leave in America I will have all the goods of a
good education and I will be prepared. She persuaded me immediately and I agreed with
her. The next step was action, to do what she told me.
As a communicator I should have gave her my points and my thoughts why I want to go
in a Greek university.

this typeface evokes elegance, formality, and a sense of celebration.

One of the most creative uses of white space I have seen recently was (describe):

I think that white space in a design is the best to use when you want to attract people’s
interest. By using white space you add a complementary contrast in your design.

One company that I instantly recognize its logo is COCA-COLA. The trademarked
Coca Cola name in white Spenserian script is very famous.itis a logo that
almosteveryperson in the world can recognize. The white words make a contrast with the
red font, and issometing that attracts the glance.
An organization that I instantly recognize its logo too is GREENPEACE. The letters are
in green color something that make you thing abut the nature. By this logo
GREENPEACE attract people that are sensitize for the nature.

An other logo that I instantly recognize is the one of NIKE. The logo represents the
wing of the Greek Goddess. The Nike logo is a classic case of a company gradually
simplifying its corporate identity as its frame increases.

communicated its message along the following parameters. Suggest what, if anything,
you might have done differently.

PSA subject

PSA subject: an exhibition

PSA sponsor: john melaniths

Headline :<< odusseas ws faoust>>
Graphic or Photo:

What I would have done differently would be the marketing. There were not a lot of
people that come to this exhibition due to the poor marketing it had.
