Introduction

The study of a five dimensional solutions of gauged

supergravity, its important to be related, with a
strongly-coupled conformal field theories by the AdS/CFT
correspondence
The generalization a Kerr-Newman black hole has not been
found it in higher dimensions
In order to do the right study of this gravity theories we
introduce counterterms that give the correct conserved
quantities
The study of thermodynamics quantities is provide by this
scheme

The addition of a boundary term regularize the action and the

Charged rotating solution

A variation respect to the gauge potential, we obtain a modified

Maxwell equation by the contribution of the Chern-Simons term

where we have use first a radial foliation of the spacetime, and

then a time-like foliation
Conclusions

The Chern-Simons term modifies the Maxwell equations, and

the definition of charge
The Kounterterm method gives the correct conserved
quantities for the EMCS action
The quantities obtained by the integration of the First law in
the original paper, are the same that we obtain
The finite action provides a right starting point to obtain the
Smarr-type relations from the Euclidean action
