1. What steps did you go through to create this lesson? With whom did you talk, discuss, or edit your
lesson?
I talked with Mrs. Merce about what a good lesson would be after I looked at the essential questions
for what they were working on with the students.
2. How did the SOLs and Objectives help focus your instruction?
I had to talk about why we needed numbers. So I decided to play a game with the students.
I didnt really need any materials besides myself and the students.
6. How effective was the assessment you chose to use? (If no assessment was used, what will the future
assessment be and how will you gauge its effectiveness?)
The assessment wouldve been another game where we would be inside and we would need numbers
to play.
7. To what degree do you feel that this lesson was a success? What evidence do you have for the success of
the lesson? (Hint: Student learning is the key to a lessons success!)

I think that the lesson was a partial success because I did it on a game and the students were more
engaged with the game.
8. How did the time spent preparing for your lesson contribute to its success?
I think that it contributed to my success a little. A lot had to do with the execution of the game and
discussion.
9. If you could do this lesson again with the same students, would you do anything differently? If so, what?
I dont believe that there was a lot to change. I had them play a fun game and they enjoyed it and
then we talked about the significance of numbers.
10. Any last comments/reflections about your lesson?
I think Im improving my confidence level.
