or Concepts
Materials blocks, promethean board,
I will have the students sit on the carpet and we will talk about things that they
like and I will ask questions like, So what do you guys like? Do you like more
Introduction of (name object)? What do you dislike? Would you like more or less of (name
Hook object)?

1. Have the students stand around the perimeter of the carpet.

2. We would play the counting game. I would say a number and they
would have to count to that number and the person that gets to that
number has to sit down. Every time someone would sit out we would
Instructional count how many we had or I would ask how many and have them count
Activities for themselves.
3. Then we would play the game again but in reverse with them sitting in a
circle and then adding their feet as we got to them. Until everyone added
their feet and as a class we would add it as a class.
4. After the game I would get the students to do a very simple sheet that
would have adding and subtracting problems on them.
Stay with that person the whole time. Or have them work on the worksheet
Accommodations instead of playing the games.
