Validation
For standard 1.2, the final Practical
report explains how I was able to
identify the needs of the students,
and implement appropriate teaching
strategies for these students.
For standard 1.6, the case study
completed in Special Education 3026
asked myself to develop a number
of different strategies that would
help a student with disability within
the classroom. Furthermore the
strategies developed allowed for the
student to receive a quality
education whilst also maintaining
the student was not discriminated
against.
The Literacy Lesson plan which was
created on third year Placement for
my year One class clearly
demonstrates that I Have a sound
knowledge of standard 2.1, 2.2 and
2.3.
The lesson plan clearly
demonstrates appropriate teaching
strategies required, whilst also the
correct content to match the
outcomes along with appropriate
assessment.
The Special Education Case study
which was completed reflects the
standards 3.2, 3.3 and 3.5 as the

Standard 4.2 and 4.5 were meet
during my third year placement as
highlighted in my Placement report.
Throughout my Placement, all the
lessons which required ICT
components were only every
handled by myself, or my CT to
ensure the safety of all students.
Furthermore, activities around the
classroom were closely monitored by
myself to ensure all situations were
manageable.

assess three different students work
samples whilst also providing written
feedback to all three students on
their performance and assess their
work.
