COMPANY PRESENTATION
BMW was created on march 7, in 1916, then after the war there were planning built air
machines but that were illegal in that time then in 1928 it become and car manufacturing
but at that time was broke out of the war the world presented
The BMW Group exclusively targets the international premium or luxury automotive
markets, it manufactures and sells higher-end sedans, hits and convertibles also BMW
operates under a corporate policy called "Strategy Number ONE," which identifies two
main targets: the company seeks to be profitable and to enhance long-term value in
periods of change.

SUSTAINABLE PROCESS
BMW propose the use of:
renewable energies
innovate in production methods
focus on lightweight construction
make dealerships sustainable and improve diversity in its workforce also the company is
targeting production powered:
biomass
methane gas
to improve the sustainability of both factories and vehicles. Also other method include:
electrifying the power and improving energy management
aerodynamics
fuel efficiency
reduced carbon dioxide emissions.
ENVIRONMENTAL PILLAR
Bmw also help the enviroments reducing they resource consumption, lowering
emissions and avoiding waste, they also take environmental factors; their investments
in Group-wide environmental protection are constantly improving they resource-
efficiency, Bmw is playing a very important role in the case of nature conservation
because they are using eco-systems to conserve the plants, animals and humans in the
case of the good health for the people, BMW create the BMW conservation awards to
protect Carolinas and possible all natural resources in the world.

SOCIAL PILLAR
BMW and the ONU start "Alliance of Civilizations" (UNAOC) have a close partnership
and have launched the Intercultural Innovation Award to strengthen their efforts to
bridge cultural and religious opening and promote social peace in societies Multicultural

ECONOMIC PILLAR
BMW's investment in South Carolina supports more than 28,000 jobs, about 1.6% of the
workforce. BMW creates a multiplier effect of 4.3 which means that for every job created
in the BMW plant more than three additional jobs are created in other parts of the
economy. Through corporate initiatives that promote environmental awareness,
financial support and conservation, BMW is playing a leading role in sustaining the
fragile ecosystems that make the Upstate community so unique.
