DESCRIPTION OF CHANGE:

When you reinstall the OS and the application for CR-IR 391CL and CR-IR 391V CL, the reinstallation fails if
you perform the procedure according to the service manual. This ECN is to announce the correct
reinstallation procedure.

5.5 Setting the Image Reader

Unfailingly remove the checkmark from "Check the box to use Patient information display". If it is
checkmarked, CR-IR 391RU cannot be connected because it cannot display patient information.

1. Enter an Image Reader name (default: Image Reader) in
the Equipment name field.
2. Enter an Image Reader host name (default: RU0) in the
Host name field.
3. Enter an Image Reader IP address (default: 172.16.1.10)
in the IP Address field.
4. Checkmark Use in the Check the box to use Patient
information display field ( ).
NOTE
To have the patient information be displayed, the relevant
setting must be turned ON also on the RU side.
For details of the procedure to use, see Appendix 4: Setting
the RU-Config in MC: Checks, Replacement and
Adjustment of Parts.
