YEARS
For over one hundred years, US Hose Corp
has remained the preeminent manufacturer
of flexible metallic, fluoropolymer and
composite hose connectors. As part of
The United Flexible Group of companies,
our factories in Romeoville, Illinois
and Houston, Texas complement an
impressive global network of specialty hose
manufacturing facilities throughout North
America and Europe.

Our diverse product line coupled with

unparalleled engineering and customer
service support enables our customers to
achieve a flexible hose solution for nearly
any liquid and gaseous transfer applications
in severe and demanding environments.
Quality as a Constant
Factor
In manufacturing and assembly, priority is given to the
operational safety of the product. The compliance to ISO
9000 (2000) and PED/CE emphasizes the care we as a
Group pay to processes and procedures to ensure a high
performance product the first time it is installed.

Specialty Metallic Hose

Assemblies
Handling corrosive liquids in demanding environments
can be tough, especially at pressure. This is why US
Hose has been instrumental in developing a full range
of corrosion resistant corrugated flexible metallic hose
assemblies from ¼” (6mm) and larger.
The corrugated hose or innercore member can be
manufactured from alloys such as Inconel® 625,
Hastelloy® C-276, Monel 400®, Incoloy® 800, Type
904L stainless steel as well as the more general purpose
T304, T316 and T321 stainless steels.
The pressure containment is provided from multi
stranded heavy duty wire braids that can be
manufactured from similar metals for whatever the
corrosion, pressure or environmental demands are.
Pressure ranges from 12,000 psi (828 bar) in ¼”
(6mm) to 3000 psi (207 bar) in 3” (80mm).
To enable connection of the hose to your system, a wide
variety of end fittings are available including barrel
or hexagon NPT/BSP males and females, ANSI Class
flange both RF and RTJ, BS Table; JIS and DIN flanges,
tube stubs, compression fittings, with varying pressure
ratings and alloys, practically anything that can be
welded or brazed is possible. Dealing with a global
company provides global sourcing and resources to your
exacting application.
Metallic hoses are completely diffusion free and do
not deteriorate like rubber or plastic hoses. Their
temperature ranges from cryogenic to +2000 F/1093
degrees C depending on metals used. These specific
qualities of the US Hose product range make this one of
the most operationally safe flexible connectors.
US Hose provides the complete manufacturing and
assembly process with ASME Section IX certified welders
as well as those certified for welding Inconel, Hastelloy,
Monel, Duplex and Super Duplex and virtually all
grades of stainless steel as well as providing client and
third party oversight on critical applications.

Specialized Metallic Hose

Assembly Testing
Once the assembly process is complete, US Hose can
offer a wide variety of in-house quality assurance
testing such as
• Hydrostatic pressure testing to one-and-a-half
times maximum working pressure (limited to the
lowest pressure denominator)
• High pressure nitrogen or helium gas test
• Helium Leak Testing to 10-9 SCCS He
• Oxygen cleaning (for both commercial service
and breathing air)
• Certified liquid dye penetrant testing available
in-house (Level II)
• Third Party radiographic inspection and
interpretation
• Third Party witness testing
• Client Critical Process Review
Specialized Fluoropolymer Tubing & Hose Assemblies
US Hose with its Jackson Industries brand, supplies a broad product range of fluoropolymer hose , tubing and assemblies with
conjunction with our sister manufacturing facility, Habia Teknofluor, in Sweden. Our Group products use the original Teflon® T62 as
the basic material that ensures the high purity and the lowest coefficient flow available.
Available in smooth or convoluted bore in sizes from 6mm to 100mm bore, Jackson Industries fluoropolymer products provide high
cycle life with fatigue free movement as well as
• High chemical resistance – inert to practically all commercial chemicals, acids, alcohols, coolants, petroleum compounds,
solvents, synthetic lubricants and hydraulic fluids
• Flex and Shock resistance – not affected by continuous flexing or vibration or impulse cycling, withstanding alternating
temperature extremes
• High Flow rates – Low coefficient of friction with anti-stick properties insures continuous lower pressure drop during
service with a great pressure rating and vacuum capabilities
• Light Weight- Easier to move, handle and install than a rubber hose
• Non-Adhesive – handles substances such as adhesives, sealants and viscous compounds with ease
• Non-Contaminating – will not contaminate material, fluid or gas for sampling
• Resists deterioration – impervious to weather and will not age during service life
• Steam Compatibility – absorbs no moisture – ease to clean and sterilize
Our high pressure conductive Fluoropolymer hose assemblies provide the highest working pressures in the industry with ranges
between 6,000 psi (414 bar)in ¼” (6mm) up to 4,000 psi (276 bar) in 1-1/2” (400mm) bore. And with a large variety of
protective covers to keep the elements out and the performance in, US Hose fluoroploymer hose assemblies provide reliable and
safe liquid or gaseous transfers.

Specialized Composite Hose Assemblies

US Hose Corp’s brand names of TIFT-Compoflex® and Willcox Hose® are the recognized leaders in composite hose technologies.
These hose assemblies can deliver a kink resistant movement with unparalleled lightness and ease of connection in 1” to 10”
(250mm) diameters and pressures up to 350 psi (24 bar) for a wide variety of liquids and vapors.
Our composite hose assemblies are manufactured from high tensile strength reinforcing inner and outer wires of either galvanized
steel, polypropylene coated steel or T316 stainless steel with liners and hose walls that are resistant to hydrocarbons, chemicals or
cryogenic liquids or vapors.
Our hose assemblies provide for full electrical end-to-end continuity, with resistance typically less than 10 ohms by bonding the
inner and outer wires to the end connections that might include ANSI Class, BS Table D, JIS and DIN flanges or quick disconnect
couplers (with locking arms) and male camlock adapters. Other end fittings might include other metallic connections or even
chemical resistant and UV stabilitized polypropylene fittings. Threaded connections in international standards such as NPT, BSPP or
BSPT are easily provided.
Our CAD engineered hose assemblies comply with various US and international standards including BS 5842, EN 13765,The United
States Coast Guard 33 CFR Section 154.500 & Section 154.810; IMO Codes, BCH and IBC requirements.
Our specialized composite hose assemblies out perform rivals with proven durability and performance and make us the preferred
composite hose manufacturer of choice.
