Lesson 26 - Words Relating to People You Will Meet on the SAT 1
Adversary Advocate Artisan Ascetic Charlatan Hedonist
Orator Pariah Raconteur Skeptic Virtuoso
The more radical strain, which led hundreds of Sanders delegates to ascetically4
walk out of the Democratic National Convention in protest last summer, is still present
on the left and emboldened by the loss of Hillary Clinton and their belief that "Bernie
would have won." the skeptical5 people are betting that the disaffected left is as or
more interested in remaking the Democratic Party as it is in fighting President Donald
Trump. This reason is because Sanders is a great leader with powerful orator6 and a
prominent raconteur7 who would be a significant democratic president of the United
States. Unfortunately, the pariah8 candidate lost against Hillary Clinton.
Even though he lost, there are many other possible ways in which Sanders has
contributed here in the United States, especially with his herdonist9 speeches in which
move the ways of thinking for many people. He has become the voice of undocumented
people in which enjoys his virtuoso10 career. This is why many of the college students
who voted for him are willing to fight for what Bernie Sanders has believed in. Many of
his people are not very charlatan11 when it comes to discussing the matter of what they
believe in what is best for the United States.
