Message:

Education is life long process. It is a process that goes on throughout


life and is
promoted by every experience in life. This experienced that weve been
through molds us to become a better person than what we are before.

I was blessed because I am one of the participants of this one-day


Seminar-Workshop on Training Design, through this I was able to enhanced
my knowledge in making Training Design which is very relevant in my
teaching job. Indeed, it was a very successful training because of the
cooperation of every participants and through the help of our professor
and speaker.

I. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Course Title: Gender and Development Training for Parents


and Pupils to
promote gender equality for the development
of ones personality
Participants: The participants to this two-day training are 50
pupils and 100
parents of Pansud Elementary School.
Duration: 2-day training
Schedule: July 11-12, 2017
Venue: Pansud Elementary School
Pansud, Lebak, Sultan Kudarat
Budgetary Requirements: Php. 19,600.00

II. RATIONALE:

Pansud Elementary School has its strong commitment to


the promotion of gender equality in development within our
school and with our partners working against child abuse and
child bullying. Some of the pupils in the said school
experienced child abuse and bullying about ones culture and
gender. Those are the real issues of concern that needed an
immediate action to prevent discriminations and mistreat in
school.

Pursuant to the DepEdOrder, S. 2013- Guidelines and


Procedure on the Establishment of DepEd Gender and
Development (GAD) at the Regional, Division and School
Levels. Gender equality means that both men and women
enjoy equal opportunity in the exercise of their human rights
and fulfillment of their human capacity in the political, socio-
economic and cultural development of their communities.
To extirpate the said cases, enhancing the knowledge of
our pupils and parents in Gender and Development is one of
the steps we see to address this problem. With the help of the
School Personnel, Barangay Officials, PTA Officials and Parents
we can reduce or eradicate abuses and bullying within our
school and community, to enhance ones personality to
become productive citizen of our society.

III. GENERAL OBJECTIVE:


At the end of Gender and Development Training, Pansud
Elementary School pupils and parents are expected to work
together to reduce abuses and bullying within the school and
community, to enhance ones personality to become
productive and responsible individual.

Specific Objective:
At the end of the training, Pansud Elementary School
pupils and parents are expected to:
1. Identify gender roles in family, household and society
2. Tell the role of the state in responding to gender needs and
salient features of RA 7192
3. Perform individual tasks to enhance personal development

IV. Participants: The participants to this one-day training are 50


pupils and 100
parents of Pansud Elementary School.

V. Course Content:
The Resource Person uses the Power Point Presentation
in discussing the topics and group activities.

VII. Methodologies and Techniques


The training was done through PowerPoint lecture of the
resource speaker and the participants were given a chance to
share their own ideas through group activities.

VIII. Output
Actual performance of pupils and parents in dealing
cases like child abuse and bullying will be undertaken to ensure
the effectiveness of the training.
