ROLE OF THE ASD-WEST- School Psychologist

ASD-W School Psychologists will follow the Support Services to Education Service Delivery Model for School Psychologists. The EST-School Psychologist will
be responsible for a family/cluster of schools. The EST-School Psychologist role parallels the tiers of intervention described by the RtI model, as described
below.

Please note: This is a shift to a workload model comprised of a continuum of direct and indirect services. Tier I encompasses proactive and preventative
services, coaching/teaching partnerships and capacity building within the educational system. The aim of Tier I supports is to proactively meet students
needs before they escalate and require more intensive school psychological services. Tier II/Tier III supports those students for whom Tier I activities are not
sufficient and they include more targeted/ individualized interventions.
