Westwood Collegiate Vocal Jazz Auditions Information September 4th,

2014

Students who are interested in auditioning for either the SATB or

the SSAA vocal jazz ensembles are required to do the following:

1. Fill out the information form at the bottom of this page and hand
it in to Ms. Russell by Monday, September 8th, 2014.
2. Attend the audition preparation session on Monday, September
8th, at 12:20PM. At this time, the parts of the song will be
reviewed and the group will sing the song together.
3. Practice all the parts within your voice range for bars 1-31 of
Blue Moon and be prepared to sing them. Auditions will be
conducted in small groups with one voice to a part, so you need
to be able to sing your part independently.
4. Auditions will take place in the choral, room at 12:20PM on
Wednesday, September 10th, and Friday, September 12th.
