SELF-CARE DEVELOPMENT
Children who are 48-60 months of age (audience) know 90% (degree)of what they can
save themselves from microbes.(condition)
Children who are 48-60 months of age learn 80% hygiene rules in classrooms and at
home.
COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT
Children who are at 48-60 months of age (audience) learn 80% (degree)of their skills of
giving attention, observing and making prediction while observing.(behavior)

After experiment with children, teacher tells what we can do for preventing us from
microbes and stay healthy by using Animoto and teacher asks questions to children for
assessment.

Group Learning Activities All children make observation by one by and


they draw their strategy to stay healthy on
paper.

Summary
Teacher comes to class and she says: hello, children, I am a little bit sick. What do you
think about its causes? teacher listens to all childrens answers. Then, she says:
doctor said to me I gave some microbes and they made me ill. So, what can we do to
prevent us from microbes. Teacher listens to childrens predictions. Then, she says:
now, we will do an experience all together. We have big apples and you should imagine
that these tinsels are as microbes. Now, you will put tinsels on apple. Then, you will try
to remove these tinsels by using different techniques and you will decide which one is
best. Children put tinsels on apple. Firstly, they try to clean apple with towel. Tinsels are
still here. They try to clean it with wet towel. Some of tinsel is removed but not all. They
wash with only water. It is not enough. At the end, they wash apple with soap and water.
Children see that all tinsels are removed by washing with soap and water. After
experimentation, teacher listens to childrens inferences. Then, teacher explains ways to
protect us from microbes by showing Animoto video. At the end, children and teacher
talk about the activity.

Measurement & Evaluation


Teacher uses questioning to evaluate the learning process.

-what we have learnt today?

-In this activity, did you face with any difficulties?
-If you were microbes, what do you feel? What would you do?

-what we can do for preventing us from microbes?

-what did you observe in this activity?

If children lost their attention while experimentation, teacher can play a music and make
experiment as a game.
