Student teaching internship with Jennifer Hayden, third grade ED, LD, and LEAD inclusion
30 students, 15 eligible for special education services
Collaborated with three special educators, reading specialist, and third grade team to
improve instruction for all students
Analyzed pre-assessment data to design unit on math SOL 3.11; class average improved
from 51% to 89% with all students scoring 70% or better on post-assessment and
significant reduction in subgroup gaps
