The Eurekaweek tends to be quite an
intensive week. We strongly advise you
to stay in Rotterdam during the week so
you can fully enjoy the programme. If
you need a place to stay, you can stay
at one of the houses of the student
associations, or you can stay on the
university campus. For more information,
please check out our website.
Costs
The costs for participating in the
Eurekaweek include breakfast, lunch,
dinner and access to the whole
programme including parties at
student associations.
70,- without an overnight
accommodation.
90,- including overnight
accommodation on campus.
Attention: You need to have a public
transport chip card (OV-Chipkaart).

The Eurekaweek in a nutshell
What is it?
The Eurekaweek is the official introduction
week for all new students at EUR.
Where is it?
The entire week takes place in Rotterdam,
in the city, at the university, and at different
student, study, and sport associations.
What am I going to do?
With two enthusiastic guides and around
11 other students of your study, you will
follow a varied programme. During this
week you will find out everything about
the university, the city of Rotterdam and
its student life!
Why would I participate?
During the Eurekaweek you will get to
know your fellow students, make friends
for life and get the opportunity to arrange
practical things, such as a bank account.

The theme
The theme of the Eurekaweek 2017 is
All Hands On Deck. This theme highlights
the importance of diversity and inclusivity,
and emphasises the mentality of Rotterdam:
working hard together. During this week
we encourage you to discover your new
environment, both the city of Rotterdam,
its student life and the university. We invite
all of you to come aboard and set sail
through Rotterdam!

On this day you will get to know the
