Living Shaykh
Shaykh Mehmet Adil Al-Haqqani, Sohbet of the 28th of May, 2017.

As-salmu alaykum wa ramatu Llhi wa baraktuh. Adhu biLlhi mina sh-shayni r-

rajm. Bismi Llhi r-Ramni r-Ram. A-altu wa s-salmu al Raslin Muammadin
Sayyidi l-awwalna wa l-khirn. Madad y Rasla Llh, madad y Sdti Abi Rasli
Llh, madad y Mashyikhin, dastr y Shaykh Abdu Llh al-Fiz ad-Dghistn, Shaykh
Muammad Nim al-aqqn. Madad. arqatun -ubah wa l-khayru fi l-jamiyyah.

Sayyidina Al is saying "Man allaman arfan kuntu lah abdan" "Who teaches me a letter,
I will be his slave", says Sayyidina Al. He is respecting this so much. And his main teacher
was our Prophet . Our Prophet is the teacher of all the ummah. The teaching teacher
is our Prophet . We are all his slaves, slaves to our Prophet . Everything we know we
took from his spring, from the spring of his knowledge. All mankind is using what our
Prophet taught and his knowledge.

Knowledge is useful. It is useful for those who understand. And it's against the one who
doesn't understand. It becomes useless knowledge for him. Knowledge, what we mean by
knowledge, should be useful. A useless thing is not knowledge. Therefore, our Prophet
taught everything to ummati Muammad. Qurn Amu sh-Shan was granted by Allh
Azza wa Jalla to him as his miracle. It is an eternal miracle. The biggest miracle is
Qurn. It has the knowledge of the pre-eternal and eternal in it. Then there are adth, there
are hundreds of thousands adth of our Prophet . There are many muadiths who wrote
them down in books.

This is the knowledge our Prophet left to his ummah. Is it enough? Is it enough for
mankind? It is. It is enough. Because Allh Azza wa Jalla granted all of it because our
Prophet was the last Prophet and His Beloved. And he granted it to his ummah. It
is enough. Our Prophet said that "Who takes knowledge from me and doesn't share it,
he'll be held responsible for it". Moreover, Our Prophet cursed them, he cursed those
who took knowledge from our Prophet to share it and didn't share. They will pay for it.
And mankind now is saying there is no need for hodjas and lims, no need for shaykhs and
murshids. Our Prophet left all the knowledge. Our Prophet left it and said who is not
lim and teaches will pay for that too. It is not a playing matter.

You can't interpret it according to your own mind. There are lims and mashyikh. They
are coming one after another. Why do they come? There is all the knowledge, but there
should be a door as well to transmit it to people. These doors are these mashyikh and lims.
When our Prophet departed from this world, Sayyidina Ab Bakr spread this knowledge.
He didn't say there was our Prophet and now we shouldn't do anything. He didn't tell
people not to use it. Because the closest one that our Prophet taught was Sayyidina Ab

Bakr, then Sayyidina Umar, Sayyidina Uthmn, Sayyidina Al. They have different doors
of knowledge for the manifest and arqah. Everything is like our Prophet ordered. There
should always be someone in this life so that knowledge is transmitted through that door. It
can't be by reading books. The spirituality won't pass this way. The knowledge won't pass. It
will be just dull and people will run away.

Allh always sends someone alive to people to remind them - "Wa dhakkir fa-inna dh-
dhikra tanfau l-muminna."(51:55) It is useful to remind the believers. "I've heard enough
from my Shaykh". Go as you like. But that is not reminding. It means you didn't understand
what your Shaykh told you. That's why you are incomplete and in loss. This is Allh's
sunnah, sunnah for the people He created. People don't live forever. One day everyone
will have to let go what is in his hand and leave. People of arqah and believers are people
who should know this well. Then they should follow who comes next. He won't stay, he'll be
gone too. Then the next one. This is like this. This is what Allh says. If you object to it,
then you didn't understand anything. You're in loss. You think you're doing right, but you're
harming both yourself and others. It is not according to me or you. This is by the decision of
Allh .

May Allh let all of us accept the truth, in sha Llh. Certainly a murshid is necessary.
Murshid, even if you know or don't know, it comes from his channel. Even if he's not aware
of it. If Allh put that person there, everyone receives his share from him. He is a door
from which some mercy comes. That spirituality is coming to those who come and accept
him. Important is the spirituality. And spirituality ... Most people are upset now. But it comes
from one door. Mawln used to say spirituality is from our door. Just like when the last
water drains, when it's finished, the spirituality of the other springs will finish. Who asks for
spirituality should come to the door of aqq. Who doesn't ask, there is no force. And there is
no fault in telling the truth, no harm in it by the meaning of reminding. He is reminding by
the order of Allh . People should remember Allh . They should remember why they
were created. May they remember whose ummah they are, in sha Llh. May Allh make
us from those who benefit from it.

Allh Azza wa Jalla saying: "wa-dhakkir fa-inna dh-dhikr tanfau l-muminna" (51:55)
Mean, make people to remember remembrance it is benefit for believer. And Prophet he
was first who become remember for this ummah. And Sayyidina Al he said, "who teach me
one word I become like his slave for him." And his teacher was Prophet . He is teaching us,
arati Al, to be all ummah like slave for Prophet . We are accept this. We are even less
than this. But, in sha Llh, he accept us like this, Prophet . Because if for one word,
arati Al he is high position, high station saying this, how for our Prophet , he is
teaching us whole knowledge from beginning to end. His, whole what human being knowing
from knowledge from Prophet .

Knowledge it is good thing. What the people learning from knowledge, good thing. But if
they are using this for not good thing it is not knowledge. Only knowledge what good thing

teaching. Prophet teach us everything benefit for us. We are his slave, we are accept
him as our master. He is everything for us, we are nothing. And he teach us,
abah everything. He not let any knowledge not teaching his ummah. He , it is
enough for ummah, for human being what he teach us - Prophet . He has the biggest
book, heavenly book Qurn. It is miracle forever. Nobody can do something like this.
Everybody accept this. Hundred thousand of adth hundred people they make books from
his sayings, adth. And he teach everything. Nothing left he didn't teach us. It is
enough of course because he is last messenger Prophet. Allh Azza wa Jalla He did not
let anything for human being must know not sending with Prophet . Must be more than
enough. We accept this, nobody can deny this.

But after when Prophet he left this world for eternal life, not everybody accepting
Sayyidina Ab Bakr as teacher also. Why we have all this knowledge and even Prophet he
was in front of whole this abah but why they are in need for teacher? It must be, must be
in this life a live teacher to teach people. After him Sayyidina Ab Bakr,Uthmn, Al,
Sayyidina Al like this coming. This is from for hir But for arqat coming from Sayyidina
Ab Bakr, Salmn, like this coming. And from Sayyidina Al also. These are teachers, one
after one, one after one they are going like this. They are connecting for Prophet . But it
must be something people to see in front of them.

This not from human being order or we want this, you must be... No. This is from Allh Azza
wa Jalla His sunnah... what He , His way, Allh way. His way from dam alayhi
s-salm they are sending time by time people. Not let human being to be without any teacher
in any time. Whole time they have teacher. So when some lim going, other lim coming,
scholar coming. Maybe one imm going, other imm also in the mosque he must be - putting
another imm. Like this for murshid, for mashyikh also same like this. So it is lesson for
human, human being of course the knowledge is for lesson for them but who are they are
claiming they are following Prophet , following his order and more than this they following
arqat and after they said we like, this we don't. Our Shaykh he was enough for us. We also
say, he was enough for hundred year if not saying anything it is enough also for human being,
for murid. But he said, you must be, your murshid between you, you must follow him because
he is, even he not knowing anything, but he is appointed by murshid, by Shaykh.

What is benefit, what is the wisdom from this? Wisdom he is door and this barakah and light
coming through this door. So who are following arqat or following any Shaykh he must,
when his Shaykh change his world, he must look find another one in life. This is Mawln
Shaykh whole his life was saying. But many people they are not understanding this, so it is not
for Mawln's fault, their fault. It is very important. Until now everywhere they are arguing,
they are trying to say something. But what Mawln's order it is openly he said this and this is
arqah - it is heart matter. If their heart accepting ok. Not accepting they no any force for
this. But we must or our order, order for us "wa-dhakkir" (51:55) Remember [remind] this
people. If they are accept they accept, not accept they are free. Now world freedom,

everywhere freedom. So they can do what they like. But it is the reality it is only to follow
Shaykh's order.

Allh make us to follow and to remember. It is wisdom of mashyikh. It is wisdom of this

surah. Remember, to remember. When somebody see Shaykh he remember khirah,
remember Allh , remember Prophet , remember mashyikh. Allh make us to
whole time to remember them, in sha Llh.

Wa min Allhi t-tawfq al-Ftiah.
