0 Introduction

Tropical rain forest is one of the main ecosystem in the world. It also heavily related to our

country since our country mostly consist of this type of forest. There are plenty of species and

organism can be found in this ecosystem. Range from the biggest mammal to the smallest of

creature. The plants are also very diverse and some said that you can never see same species

of plant next to each other showing hoe diverse the rain forest is. However, what are other

type of ecosystem can we find in our country? In the act to know more about the diversity of

the ecosystem that we have, we were assign to a field trip to discover the diversity hands on.

The location of our study is the Colmar Tropicale located at Bukit Tinggi.

2.0 Objective

To study the diversity of species found there.

To study the home of the species.
To study about their other ecosystem where they can be found other than our tropical

forest.

3.0 Location of Trip

Bukit Tinggi Rabbit Farm ,Pahang

Japanese Village, Bukit Tinggi, Pahang
4.0 Discussion

At 8.30 am, all student was required to assemble at the bus stop. There were 2 busses and a

van were prep up for the student. We were advised to bring our own food and drinks to the

field site since the resources supplied are limited to only RM10.00 per person. We depart to

Colmar Tropical at around 8.40 am, due to all the registration process. There was some

difficulty in the registration process because of the large number of student involve. It is

estimated about 110 students and a few number of lecturers were involved in this field trip.

The road to Calmer Tropical is quite long however, there were no any trouble face by

the group. We started at 8.40 am and after about an hour of the journey, we reached the

Temerloh Rnr to stock up our needed resources and having our breakfast there for about 1

hour. Then we continue our way straight to the designated field location. We reach the

Calmer Tropical at about 11.30 am. We were told during the briefing that they are actually

two checkpoint involve in our field trip. First was the rabbit farm and the other one is the

Japanese village. We were left off to discover the animals found in the rabbit farm. There are

After our trip from the farm, we continued our way to the jappanese village. In the village, we
can see alots of tropical plants. Some are big while some are herbecious. We spend about 2
hours gathering information about the plants. Theese are some of the plant we manage to

After finishing descovering the plants, we readied ourself to go back home. At

around 5.00 p.m, we depart from Colmer Tropical to our College. At about 8.00p.m, we

arrive to our college and have our rest.

We were alble to collect a lots of information about the diversity that can be found in

our country. Although the trip was long and tiring, the expirience we gain were invaluble as

we manage to collect the information hands on. We hope actitities such as theese will be held

again as it give us many benefits.

5.0 Conclusion

In conclusion, we are enjoy and satisfied in participating this field trip because we can

see clearly and touched the animals in the Rabbit Farm. We learned that the animals can live

in the community at the suitable places such as rabbit and the spotted deer can live in the

same area together. They live in the same place and move freely without disturbing each other.

Lastly,we can see the real shape and structure of the plants that we have observe and

described in the discussion. There are many different types of species of plant that we

observe at the Japanese Village and we learned that each species of plant have their own

unique structures that differ them from one another.
