Teacher creates a concept map of emotions by using bubbl.us. In this concept map, there are
some links for worksheets of pictures about emotions. Teacher gives children those
worksheets and wants them to paint or complete with waste materials as they wish.

Group Learning Activities -

Summary
Teacher enters to class with waste materials such as fabric, boxes, buttons etc. She tells kids
to Children, I wanted you to bring some waste materials to the class yesterday. I also bring
materials for you. Now, lets come together these materials. Teacher collects materials one
corner of the classroom and says We will make kittens by using these materials. She
distributes these materials, glues and crayons to kids and they make kittens. For example,
they use cartons as a kittens body and they stick buttons as eyes of kittens. They make
mustaches on the face of kittens with crayons. After, teacher says Kids, these kittens are lost
they are very sad and they try to find their mother. Lets help them and find their mother.
They go to find the mother cat in the classroom. During the trip, teacher prepares some
difficulties to kids for moving. She tells Kids, the big rock in front of us, lets jump. Okay,
lets moving. Now, lets walk fast. Kids, the kittens have to feed by their mother. Therefore,
we move faster because they are crying. Children, there are stones in front of us. We pass
through them slowly and carefully. Teacher opens cat sounds and listens to kids and says
them Kids, can you hear the sound? What is that? After their responses, she says Lets,
bring the kittens to the mother. I can see her. After that, teacher wears a cat mask and she
says thank you for bringing to cats. Children put the kittens next to her. Teacher says to
children Kids, mother and kittens are very happy and says thanks to you.Then, teacher
begins to assessment part.

Explanation
If the classroom does not include any media tool such as computer, teacher draw the map of
emotion on the blackboard.
Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan
If there is a problem with technology, teacher birngs a paint book for emotions and gives
those paintbook to children to make hem paint. Also, teacher wants to children bring puppets
which they do with their parent at home by using socks. The puppets are cat puppets and
they are happy or sad.
