Throughout this college search there truly has been a large amount of information acquired that truly will help
make my decision easier. In picking these colleges, I wanted a school with division one sports was large in size
and had a good business program. While there was plenty of options, my top three consisted of the University
of Maryland, University of Florida and University of Michigan. In terms of my major, I want to major in
Business Administration and ultimately earn a graduate degree in contract law. So when I was searching for
schools I looked for schools with a top MBA program and all of these schools fell in the top thirty for that
category. Additionally, I want to pursue a career in the sports industry, so since these schools are in close
proximity to large cities like Washington DC, Detroit, and Tampa Bay there is the opportunity to earn
internships and make connections with those teams. All of these schools are out of state schools, so
unfortunately can cost a lot with University of Michigan costing the most. However, luckily thanks to my
parents I am able to afford each and every one of these schools. In terms of my acceptance into these schools
both University of Maryland and University of Florida are middle of the road schools, while University of
Michigan is a slight reach school. All of these schools require many factors in order to get admitted, but an SAT
score of at least 1450 is needed to get into each of them and also need letters of recommendation and other
elements. Between now and application time, I would like to take a longer visit to some of these schools like
University of Michigan, and hopefully attend some football games to understand the environment that exists
there. Like I stated earlier, my ultimate goal is to become the General Manager of a NFL team and all of these
schools offer fantastic MBA programs to help me achieve that goal while establishing connections through
internships. Through the Myers-Brigg profile it followed up on how much I loved business management and
truly helped me set down the path of these three schools because of their great MBA programs.
Sincerely,
