Together we can Defeat the Terrorism

Pakistan is in ruins. Terrorism is destroying the country. People are dying.

Children are being victimized. The peace and calm of every citizen is being
damaged. Every person stepping out his house has no surety of safely return.
Economy and progress of our beloved homeland is badly affected by terrorism. From
Gilgit Baltistan to Peshawar and from Peshawar to Karachi, the whole nation is
victim. Every person of every field, whether it is child or women and villager or
citizen and tourist or foreigner, is effected by a few extremists.

The real problem of ever glooming Pakistan is how to uproot this destructive
force? To me, it our national problem, so only police or military operation cannot
solve it or only security agencies are not responsible of stopping it. We as true
Pakistani and as a whole nation together can fight out these violent people. Fight
against terrorists has become the responsibility of every Pakistani.

The first step to stop the terrorism is to understanding true idea of Islam and
Jihad. Our some betrayed brothers misunderstand the right meanings of Jihad and
bend their attention to extremism. Islam is peaceful religion and it cannot tolerate
the terrorism. Secondly we as a nation together must be careful and watch out any
extremist activity around us. Some people among us give the shelter and support to
militants. It is not just my job or someone elses. It is everybody job. We need the
support of every Pakistani to rescue Pakistan from the grip of terrorism. We are not
just saving Pakistan or innocents. We are saving the whole world.

Silence against Violence is a Sin

My respectful judges, competitors and gentle listeners today I am going to

explain two rhyming words violence and silence. Though these sound like same
but there is hell of difference and deep relation between these two words. Violence!
Means behavior involving physical force intended to hurt, damage, or kill someone
or something or torture someone. It is brutality, ferocity, savagery, cruelty and
inhumanity. And what about the silence relative to violence? Surely! The silence is
factor that gives raise and power to the violence.

Now a days! Violence is ever uncontrolled social problem of the whole world
either it may be developed country or underdeveloped country. Every day in the
world hundreds of innocents become the victims of violence and lead to death and
serious injuries or social or economic loss. Violence may be self-directed,
interpersonal and collective. Violence may be inflicted: physically sexually and
psychologically attack. Which type of it may be or how strong is it, is not a matter.
Violence is brutality and it is intolerable.

How can be violence stopped? Firstly it can be stopped by severe punishment.

It can be stopped by struggling and raising voice against it. Indeed! Real
responsibility of every one of us is that to say that violence is violence and standing
witness against it. To talk against the violent person is bravery. Islam has also given
importance to raise voice against violence. Silence against violence is considered the
weakest state of Islamic obligation. The great leader, Martin Luther King Jr. said,
Nothing strengthens violence as much as silence. Silence against violence is like
supporting and assisting the violence and supporting the violence is crime and sin.
So silence against violence is a sin.
