Title :

Laboratory Power Installation

Name : Riko Zakri

Class : 2 C EL

POLITEKNIK NEGERI PADANG

CHAPTER I

INTRODUCTION

I.1 Background

After the practice power installation of this laboratory students are expected to

reimplement the results of this lab in the world of work. This practical work report is a written outcome of

practicum activities that have been done.

To facilitate us in doing the same work in the future both during practice while

conducting education and while working in industry, as well as to minimize errors in the same work, then

this report is made.

The industrial world desperately needs a reliable workforce on power installations,

therefore the state polytechnic padang electrical engineering courses train prospective workers who can

be in the future in the industry

I.2 Purpose

1. Gain more understanding when the lab in the future.

2. As a reference in implementing the practice.

3. To know the problems faced during lab work.

4. Describe the process and the results of the lab.

MAIN PART

II.1 Theory

a. Lighting Installation

According to the regulation of the Minister of Public Works and Power No. 23 / PRT /

1978, article 1 point 5 on electrical installations, states that electrical installations are power lines

including tools installed inside and or outside buildings to distribute electricity after or Rear of

the company's divider / meter.

- Requirements Installation House / Building

For the installation of electrical lighting and power for the house / building must first see

the installation plan drawings that have been made by the planner based on the house / building

plan where the installation will be installed. In addition, the specifications and terms of work

received from the owner of the building / house, and the terms are not independent of the

regulations that must be met from the authorities is the issuing of the regulations of the local

PLN.

- Terms of house / building installation work:

Picture the situation to determine the location of the building, where the installation will

be installed and plans connection with PLN network.

Image installation
Planned placement of all electrical appliances to be installed and their service facilities,

eg light points, switches and socket-outlets, interfaces for, essential technical data of any

electrical equipment to be installed.
