Invincible Spirit sets sail

U.S. Navy and Republic of Korea ships transit the Pacific Ocean in a 13-ship formation led by USS Tuscon (SSN 770). The Republic of Korea and the United States conducted the combined
alliance maritime and air readiness exercise “Invincible Spirit” in the seas east of the Korean peninsula from July 25-28. This is the first in a series of joint military exercises that will occur

USAG Red Cloud:


Assault; Investigation revealed
SUBJECT #1 struck VICTIM #1 in the
mouth with a closed hand. VICTIM #1
sustained injuries consisting of swelling
to the lips and three dislodged teeth.
SUBJECT #1 was apprehended by
Korean National Police and transported
to the Korean National Police Station
where SUBJECT #1 was processed and
released into Military Police custody.
SUBJECT #1 was transported to the
Provost Marshal’s Office where an odor
of an alcoholic beverage was detected
emanating from SUBJECT #1’s person.
SUBJECT #1 was administered a
Portable Breathalyzer Test, with a result
of 0.162% Blood Alcohol Content. Due
to SUBJECT #1’s level of intoxication,
SUBJECT #1 was processed and
released to SUBJECT #1’s unit with
instructions to return to the Provost
Marshal’s Office at a later time. SUBJECT
#1 later reported to the Provost Marshal’s
Office where SUBJECT #1 was advised
of SUBJECT #1’s legal rights, which
SUBJECT #1 waived rendering a written
sworn statement denying the offense.

feedback. Because, I truly believe that communication is
what helps make a community great, and I also believe
effective communication is a “two-way street.”
