Timeline:

1) H1B filed: 16th April 2014

2) H1B approved: 2nd May 2014
3) Left USA due to medical reasons: 17th July, 2014
4) H1B starts: 1st October, 2014
5) Resigned by email from India: 3rd November, 2014

Questions:

1) Can my existing H1B visa be sponsored again or do I need to get a new H1B by going
through lottery?

2) I was out of country when my H1B got active (i.e on 1st October, 2014) and didnt
return before resigning. I didnt get my H1B stamped before resigning. Will these
factors affect my H1B renewal?

3) I have been out of country for more than 2 yrs. Will that affect my H1B renewal?

4) My Oct and Nov 2014 paystubs do now show full salary as I was on medical leave.
Will that affect my H1B renewal?

5) If my existing H1B can be sponsored again, then how much time do I get to work on
it? The dates mentioned on H1B receipt are 1st October 2014 18th August 2017.

For e.g. if I get it renewed by February 2017 do I get to work upto August 2017 (plus
3 yrs extension)?
Or
I get 2 yrs 11 months (plus 3 yrs extension) since I had resigned just after 1 month of
my H1B start date.

Documents that I have:

1) Paystubs upto Nov 3rd 2014

2) Experience letter from last job mentioning the date of employment
3) Offer letter from last job
4) All the H1B related documents
